I know that Jesus is a fictional character, similar to god-men from earler myths.
Did a historical Jesus exist?

Yes, but he was a prophet. The coming Messiah is universal. Some believe it is the second coming of Jesus and others believe he will accompany the Messiah. Not a biblical literalist who takes things the wrong way. Wine as a theme runs through the Old Testament, now, doesn't it? Yet some Baptists want to ban it, saying that Jesus didn't turn water to wine but it was fresh grape juice. Jesus sat down and drank wine, ate fish and bread with his people, now dig it...he didn't advocate smokin' crack and pot and drinking two bottles of wine a night...so what's the big deal? Anyway...it was his spiritual, political and emotional value that I appreciate; He stood for peace, solidarity, generosity, humility and tolerance.

I don't believe in Jesus as any kind of deity. He may have been a man who actually existed, although this seems to be very debatable. I've not really done enough research to know. But I don't believe in any deities or gods. Why not? Because I rely on rationality far too much for that.

Jesus is a myth used to explain the traveling of the sun through the different houses of the zodiac. It dates back to the ancient egyptian sun god Horus.

You don't need to look OUTSIDE the Bible or publications based directly on God's word to believe in Jesus. How easy would it be for Satan to influence his seed to write publications contrary to God's word to blind you unbelievers, you got sucked right in, didn't you?

Yes. It's my religion, it's my faith.
Haven't you ever heard the saying "believe in something or you will fall for nothing"

You're asking our gullible Christian friends to look outside the Bible?
They don't even realise other books exist!
