It's really sad to see so many lost souls. :(

I hope that least some will reconsider their beliefs before it is too late. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and we all have sinned (made mistakes.) John 3:16

I pray for every lost soul here Lord that you give them the opportunity to be saved and set-free like you gave me. Thank you Jesus for what you did for me. My life has never been the same since you saved me, Lord. Thank you, I love you Lord. :)

No one can fill that void in your life like Yeoshua. :)

Why are you hung up on Athiests? I dont mean to hurt your feelings, but I believe you should forget about Athieism altogether and concentrate on what will make more of an impact in this forum. Now what that is I really dont know at the present moment, but if you search long enough, I am confident you will find the answer. And i am confident that you will pose the question which will allow others to grow. Athiests will come to God eventually, some will take more time than others to do it. I know this because the Bible says,

"every knee shall bend, every head shall bow, and everyone will say "Jesus is Lord."

I just hope this wont happen after Christ returns to earth, with the unbelievers of today. After he returns, all of us who know Jesus ( everyone knows there is a God, they just dont want to admit it), shall be taken to Heaven with him. Those who resist him until that time shall be left out in the cold. Look at the passage of the virgins who waited for the Bridegroom and didnt have oil in their lamps. Those whose lamp went out had to go buy more oil. This is a parable. the Virgins are all the people of the earth, the oil is repentence to sin, the bridegroom is Jesus. "And the vigins who had oil went into the church, and the door was shut. And those who were late to come to the wedding tried to get in, and Jesus said" I never knew you."

Ladyeagle, I appreciate you because you open the door for many people. and you open the door for my little talks. Thank you.

Oh, I doubt myself as well.
Where would I be if I trusted myself, believed in myself implicitly, as though I was some sort of infallible deity?

Quis Custodiet Custodes Ipsos?

Well I'll set a bit of me to watch the rest, and get the rest of me to put that bit through audit from time to time.

None of this absolute believing nonsense.
But good enough approximations, (subject to refinement and change) to use as a basis for decisions, and life.

I believe in the universe as it is, life as something more profound and important than an audition to prove I don't deserve to be tortured forever, liberty, as in the freedom to live without conforming to a dogma, the pursuit of happiness, wherever one might find it.

I believe in a pattern through which things materialize which often runs counter to the greater trends in large systems, known as entropy, this trend tends to create increasing complexity, and is displayed in the current prevalence of technology in our lives. This extropy happens to be analogous to a tao, a pattern that always has been through which all things in nature now are.

I just happen not to believe that man kind, and the universe were created on a whim several thousand years ago by something that was bored, and then decided to plant evidence to the contrary, because I see absolutely no reason to believe as such.

This is the belief in quite a few things, they just seem to happen not to be the things you want them to be.

I believe in my family and friends and even believe in the possibility that an end to one of the biggest causes of human suffering, discrimination, hate, bigotry, homophobia, and war will end.I believe in a future without religion.

We believe in evidence. Not a man-made book of superstition, contradiction, innacuracy and downright lies.

We don't look at ourselves as a god, we don't need a god. We do however think for ourselves, and question things.

Christians seem incapable of rational thought. They believe what they are told by parents, school, church etc without question. Most are insecure and gullible. Most also, predictably, come from the US.

You poor, ignorant girl. What do you hope to accomplish? Someone secure in her beliefs doesn't ask questions like this.

Hopefully, this is the start of some real thinking for you. Good luck!
