The Universe/Outer space is part of God, that is eternal. It has no beginning; it has no end. It was not created or made. It was, is and will be independent of time. It is forever changing but God created the earth so that life could be created from this unique planet which contains water in all three states simultaneously: water, flowing seas and rivers, water vapor, steam and clouds, ice, solid form of water as at the poles. There is no other part of the Universe that has these properties; hence there is no extra terrestrial life.

I have absolutely no idea why God made Outer Space so huge, but I'll be sure and make that the first question I ask when I see him.

No, God can be anywhere at anytime in less than the blink of an eye. The true holy ones who are chosen to go to heaven are going to be ruling over the earth for a given time. Of the people who are going to live forever on earth, the Bible says that God will fulfill their every desire, that is righteous ones. God gave his prophets of old, dreams that were as real to them as if it happened to them. I would like God to give me dreams that seems as if I am on his other planets, exploring them for real. Since he created them and I desire to know his works, I believe he will fulfill this desire for me.

I think it's because the Universe is stretching or expanding and it needs somewhere to expand into.
The Bible says that "Heaven" is going to be established here on earth and you will be resurrected in a perfect physical body and the old heaven and earth will be replaced with a new one, so you probably won't be flying around the Universe as we know it today.

hahaha...sorry your question is a little funny. I don't believe we will be going on any trips once we get to Heaven. And space is not even in the same realm as Heaven it's in our realm.

No, there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth and all the old things will pass away. There will be no need for sun, moon or stars for God will be the light.

um...no.
I am not fully enlightened as to why there is even "outer space", however, it will not be with the speed of light that we travel, but by the speed of thought.

Something like that. I believe that the universe is sooo huge is because thats how humans see Heaven is space...but when he die it's really heaven.
Hope that makes since.

Lol, you realize if you were "flying at the speed of light" it would take hundreds if not thousands of years to get anywhere.
