This is a cool question... you are obviously a thinker.
Facts aren't facts because they are believed, or because people "establish" them. They are facts because they are true. People merely discover their existence.
For example, back when people thought the sun revolved around the earth, it didn't. The FACT was that the earth revolved around the sun. Their belief or disbelief didn't change what was actually true.
The best we can do, when searching for truth, is to examine the evidence around us to come to a conclusion that fits the evidence. We can observe and determine that there is a force (gravity) that pulls us toward the center of the earth.
I think it's pretty easy to make a case that physical truth, or facts, are absolute. We all live like that's the case. We don't jump off cliffs because we know gravity will kill us. We know that 2+2 is 4, and can never be 3 or 5.
The trouble is when people agree that physical truth is absolute, but don't want to admit the same for spiritual truth. Both the physical world and the spiritual world were created by the same God, so it makes sense they would operate under the same laws.
If we are looking for spiritual truth/facts, we ought to go about it in the same way we would approach physical truth. What fits the evidence? What makes sense?
If you actually examine the Bible, you will notice certain characteristics that are unique to it alone. Prophecies made centuries in advance, fulfilled. Historical references scoffed at by today's scholars, until archaelogists uncover evidence and have to admit the Bible is right... again. Hints of a knowledge of the physical world that was beyond the level of the time period in which it was written (like that the earth hangs in space upon nothing).
People will laugh at you for wondering if the Bible might be true. But I hope you can tell I'm a "thinker" too, and a logical one. Facts and truth MATTER to me.
If you give the Bible a chance, you will be surprised at just how full of truth and logic it is. And in that lies the deepest answer to your question... because if we DO get our truth strictly from "emotional people" we can't really trust it. What if we get our truth from the God who made us??
"I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done..." Isaiah 46:9-10
"Your Word is truth," John 17:17

Facts are the facts. Truth is not subjective or open to interpretation. Either I am wearing a watch or I am not. People can see an accident and report it many different ways, but it doesnt change the fact that the accident only occured in one way. Maybe one person may retell the accident as it really happened because they had a complete view of the scene. Maybe with 20 eye witnesses noboby will really get it all right, but it only actually happened one way. History happened in only one way. People tend to retell it in a way that makes their side look better but a different point of view doesnt change the hard facts of the event.
Either God exists or he doesnt. Both truths cant be right and it doesnt change based on what you choose to believe.
Truth is the truth no matter what you believe in. Faith is the hope that what you believe is the truth.

Good question. I remember thinking the same thing about a couple years ago. I even dug into my past a bit, researching how I came to believe everything I do at the present moment.
In the end, I realized it's best not to take anything that anyone says to ever be 100 percent true or false.

Those are good points.
In my search for truth, I've come to the conclusion that I must use both my mind and heart together, or in other words reason and feelings, to avoid deception. There are many examples of people being mislead by focusing on either their feelings (e.g., mob violence) or on reason (e.g., smart people exaggerating evidence) in an unbalanced way.
This approach has led me to an understanding of the purpose of earth life that continually brings me strength and happiness.

Huh?
History is written by the winners.
Science is written through objective reasoning and the scientific method.
Emotional people make up stuff to believe in like religion. What evolution? Isn't it easier to just think that everything was just created and never will change!

Truth is what we want to believe when it fits our way of thinking, if it is logical to us then it must be truth, but what is logical to me may well be nonsense to another. Absolute truth is truth.
