I think that if there really was a place called Heaven and to get there you have to believe in a certain religion and follow all the little rules in that religion, then you have already surrendered your 'free will'.

Those who believe in heaven and live their life trying to get there, have already been stripped of free will.

I can best answer this question with a favorite Atheist argument:

Atheists often claim that if they had undeniable proof of God, they would believe.

Now when we get to heaven, we will not only have undeniable proof, but we will finally start to appreciate the magnitude of his power, beauty, etc... It is not so much that we will not have choice any more, but we will be so in awe of him that we will not consider any other choice.

You must understand one thing, .....if we Christians overcome this world through Christ by doing his will while we are in these hard to live flesh bodies,.......... if we can concor the flesh now,...how much more easy is it going to be for us to do what's right and holy when we no longer have the lust of the flesh weighing us down,......for we must put on the the body of immortality, we must shed the flesh to be in his presence,....so i believe those that can overcome now,......when they make it in heaven their free will would have already been tested by this flesh we now live in.

So in that vein they would always choose the ways of god and this would be there free will............ Peace

Nope the only reason why you got there is because of your free will to chose Gods grace, A free gift. God only wants people who will freely love him. If he were to remove free will then why would he not do it now and make every one believe? No one can truly love if they are forced to right. Once you are there there will be no reason not to believe.

Seeing how there is fallen Angels, I really do not think so. I feel we are down here to practice His will on earth as it is in Heaven to strengthen our moral fibers for Heaven.

Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Free Will?

Romans 9
13. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

If the angels had freewill to rebel against God then I am left with the thought that we will continue to have freewill.
