i was dissapointed. i know this is said alot but it's not bristol anymore. i don't like seeing wrecks but i like seeing people bumping the others out of their way. now the new surface is two wide racing which is cool except for they do this at every track already. next week is california and i feel like i already watched that race tonight.

Bristol is no more. The Bump and Run is forever going at Bristol. All Bristol is now is a smaller version of Dover and everybody knows how boring Dover is. That just leaves Martinville as the only Bump and Run track on the circuit. Nascar took away Bristol's excitement. Until they put Bristol back the way it was my tickets will never be used again. Bristol was nascar at its grassroots when rubbing was racing. Nascar needs to change the name of Bristol from the fast half-mile to Little Dover.

I read where someone else said in another topic that they feel the reason their wasn't a lot of bumping and rough driving was because the Chase is so close and they don't want to risk being caught up in a wreck.

I too enjoy an occasional wreck myself.I'd say come the spring Bristol race they will be in top form again and it will once again be back to the Bristol we know and love.

I don't know about anyone else ,but I saw 3 wide racing at some point's and that was in all 3 race's (Cup,Busch and Truck).

I do seem to like this new track. Finally there is racing at Bristol and not follow the leader until you decide to bump them out of the way. I think this change is good.
I don't know why I am seeing it this way because I am usually siding with the old timers. My first so called NASCAR (Grand National) race was in 67 so I love the old NASCAR and absolutely hate most of the new stuff that goes on, but this seems to be OK with me.

Last nights race was soooooo BORING, no bumping and banging, no rubbing fenders, no fighting over the same piece of REAL ESTATE, 2 wide and 3 wide racing is fine for the OTHER tracks, but Bristol was SPECIAL. NOW its just another race track. I can't wait till Martinsville in October, when we can go short track racing again. Our TRUCK race on Wednesday Night was BETTER THAN THIS.

Bristol is gone. RIP. Now it is nothing more than a scaled down version of the intermediate speedways. No bump and run. No rooting and gouging for position. Bristol was the UFC of NASCAR and now it is gone. Next they will figure out a way to stop drafting at Daytona and Talladegga. This really beginning to suck.

Bristol did not kill off the Bump and run, the New COT prevents the Bump and Run. Now it is up to the driver.

Sounds like you all love watching people wreck. 15 - 18 cautions a night, with a few good drivers out.

The latter cautions you were begging for just prevented drivers from passing and gaining positions.

People complained that tracks like Vegas were one grove tracks, so they tried to fix it, Now you complain that tracks like Bristol are not one grove tracks.

Suffer children,YOU are the demographic that NASCAR is trying to please. They don't care about us over 40's anymore. You have spoken and you shall get what you have spoken for. It's too bad you didn't get to see racing in late 70's or all thru the 80's and early 90's.Earnhardt barging to the front,Waltrip finessing rookies into the wall and feigning innocence.Harry Gant,Swervin' Ervin. But look at the bright side, you will long for the good old days way sooner than you EVER dreamed! Have fun, children, they are doing this for you!

I liked it, but then again I like slot cars, and RC cars too.

They're all on the same track, its still racing to me. I'm not sure the track has changed as much as the drivers philosophy on how to win. with the baby sitters watching they just cant have any fun anymore.

i like Nascar, so i'm generally no longer the form that complains relating to the racing, yet I do agree that Talladega and Daytona are ruined. I in no way quite cared for them besides because of the fact the 1st 4 hundred miles advise no longer something, different than a raffle to get wrecked. The racing starts off with 20 laps to pass. The race the former day, first 185 laps have been boring, and final 3 exciting. I do think of Bristol is wonderful. I want it substitute into like earlier, yet i think of it quite is wonderful the way it is now too. To make Nascar racing greater suitable, they could desire to function greater street classes, a minimum of positioned one interior the chase in the event that they proceed to maintain the chase. they could desire to shorten the plate races to 50-a hundred miles, yet have intermission like the all megastar race. truthfully no want having 500 miles at a plate race. in addition they could desire to get rid of the numerous a million.5 mile tracks. I hear a good variety of human beings complaining approximately Fontana, nicely a minimum of it somewhat is merely a million of the two 2 mile tracks. it quite is unique. they could desire to chop up it up slightly. they could desire to have further Iowa to the cup time table fairly of Kentucky, no longer something against Kentucky. they could desire to place Darlington interior the chase, and positioned across Rockingham returned. base line, they have too many a million.5 mile tracks, and not sufficient street classes or brief tracks. Plate races are unneccessarily too long. in the event that they are going to maintain the chase, they could desire to place all of the form tracks interior the chase. i think of all races are appropriate. Nascar followers generally could desire to end complaining approximately races. they could desire to in comparison to Nascar in the event that they think of races are boring. the only way you have area via area racing the completed race is that if each motor vehicle is comparable. in case you have a driving force it somewhat is swifter than yet another, they are going to shrink back. Nascar races commonly are wonderful the way they're, apart from the plate races. they could substitute up the tracks on the time table. That bothers me greater desirable than the truthfully races itself.
