well if it did happen, wouldn't it be complete stupidity to rejoice in confirmed damnation? :S

It will be a day that never comes. What happened to the world ending in 2000? Let me guess, some silly Christians mixed up the date of the apocalypse again?!?

Actually, Christians should be worried about the "day of redemption". As I see it there will be very few "christians that would actually be redemd. All the predjudices and lies that have been spread from the so called religions of the world are more offenceive to god than any other sin that has ever been commited.
Find your faith!
Lose your religion!

The more annoying people will all vanish, those who are slightly annoying will become cloistered and try to join them, and I get some sort of nifty microchip that lets me do business anywhere in the world?... I'm not seeing a downside.

I'd like a specific date of when this is going to happen so I can point and laugh when it doesn't

Well they are 0 for 4000 years so far so I just don't think it's coming somehow.
No Judy again you are wrong, while the term rapture may have been coined then, jesus if he existed was an apocalyptic jew.

"any more" (grammar nazi)
Im looking forward to the day they expect it to happen, because when it doesnt they will finally butt out of issues that have nothing to do w/ them, and the religion will hopefully die out from shame.

its" any more", not "no more"( take English language this semester, please). and sadly, it isn't going to happen. The so-called rapture, is a story made up by some girl to impress her preacher who then stole the idea, and called it his own.
