Well yesterday I just left work and this woman came up to me and asked if I could help her push a car that broke down. A lady broke down in the third lane of a busy highway. It was rush hour and nobody really bothered to care she broke down. The two of us pushed her to the side of the road.

No one person, but when I took my trash to the community bin, I picked up several (many) pieces of dropped trash that I did not spill. But I thought we weren't supposed to call attention to the good we do, like that makes it meaningless or something?

I talked with some elderly World War II veterans. I brought them snacks and coffee, and listened to their war stories. I know, it's not much, but it seemed to be helpful for them to talk with somebody who was genuinely interested in what they had to say.
