Okay i have dry hair so i was told to leave condtioner in my hair for 10 minutes as a hair mask.. Well i rinsed it out and there isn't anymore conditioner in my hair but when i scratch my scalp white stuff gets in my nails. Is this excess conditoner do i need to scrub my scalp or is this okay?? Im guessing it's conditioner because theres never been anything on my scalp before. Is the conditioner going to clog my pores on my head?? Does it even matter?? Please help.

If you do leave the conditioner on your head when your done make sure you message you scalp with w ater for about a minute. This should get rid of most the conditioner if not all. Than if you want you can put some conditioner only on your ends but nowhere near the scalp. As for clogging of pores if you go and get some apple cider vinegar and mix about a cup of it with a liter of water use this water to rinse your the next time you wash you hair and it should clarify your hair and scalp, just remember to message you scalp while pouring mix on head. Hope I helped.

Only some conditioners are designed to be left in the scalp for that long. If you used the regular stuff, it probably dried on your scalp, and gave you 'product dandruff.'
Use a deep conditioner [ comes in a jar ] next time. Then rinse as you gently scrub the conditioner OUT. Rinse twice as much as you normally do.

well you might have dandrif or it might be conditioner. im not sure but i've never tried that next time try only 5-7 minutes & see what happens, if theres less white stuff then it probly is conditioner.
