Prophets in Islam are supposed to be human so yes, they certainly have committed sins. The most prominent example is that of Moses, when he killed a man.
From the Quran:
And he entered the city at a time of unawareness of its people, and he found there two men fighting, one of his party (his religion, from the children of Israel), and the other of his foes. The man of his own party asked him for help against his foe, so Moses struck him with his fist and killed him. He said, "This is of Satan's doing, verily, he is a plain misleading enemy."
He said: "My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me." Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
[Surah 28]
That's just one example. Prophets are chosen, no doubt but they are human before anything else.

yes prophets are humans.
Adam we know about disobeay God in the most honorable place (paradise).
Abraham had a sin of laying once, when he went to Egypt. (i can't remember the sources)
Moses has killed someone, and God forgives him.
Jesus, it really didn't talk much about his personal life.
prophet Muhammad, God told him in the Quran that he will be forgiven from all sins the past and the future. and prophet Muhammad himself mentioned that he repent to God maybe 70 times to 100 times a day. he was always asking for forgiveness regardless if he sinned or no. however there was a famous mistake that prophet Muhammad did, in which it mentioned in the Quran, that a blind man came to prophet Muhammad to ask him a question, and prophet Muhammad was busy discussing something with other people and turned him down, so God blamed him for doing this.
Quran Ch80
[1] (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away.
[2] Because there came to him the blind man
[3] And how can you know that he might become pure (from sins)?

All people sin, but when we realize we have sinned and ask for forgiveness God Most High forgives our sins.
Remember Father Adam the first man sinned and was forgiven for his sin after repentance was accepted by God?
There is only one type of repentance when one repents from the heart never to make the same mistake again, but as humans we repeat our sins but God is Oft Forgiving Most Merciful and full of Mercy.
I urge you to read the Koran in the language you understand and see for yourself how Merciful God is.

first of all, u need to know the outward appearance of a prophet. a prophet should have this 4 attitude. Siddiq(straighten), amanah(trust), tabligh (convey), fatonah(clever). by the way, as a
human being, there is some mistake(not actually a mistake) that prophet had done but has been warn by god. as an example, when someone who ask Moses, is there anyone clever than you? He said that he is clever..but then god said to him that there is one clever that him which is his friend Khaidir...u know, every prophet is MAKSUM(protected from sins) as their words not only come by he self but from god...

All men sin but Christ who is God in the flesh. The prophets before Muhammad are recorded in the true word of God and the names of the prophets used by Muhammad are not the prophets that existed before Muhammad he liked their names but not their words nor the true word of God. Don't believe me? Read the words of the prophets. Muhammaidians refuse to let Christ out do Muhamamd so they believe against the Qu'ran that all prophets are sinless and that all prophets are Messiah which goes against the teachings of the Qu'ran which only calls Christ sinless, BTW Moses killed a man. All men sinned it is the reason God came to the world to pay the penalty of death for sin for those who accept his atonement. Teh Qu'ran does say Christ was sinless and the Messiah but Muhammad did not understand the reason for this.

well, the "prophets" were humans. so, they obviously "sinned." for example, i'm sure they masturbated, lusted after women, and had other impure thoughts such as jealousy and hate. any one who denies this is simply immune to reality.
