Unfortunately yes. Theoretically, if you live a perfect life, then perhaps, but no normal human being has ever nor will ever achieve this. It's physically impossible to be perfect as a fallen human being, because one cannot perfectly control his thoughts, for starters, and there are many other reasons I won't go into.

The problem is that it's basically impossible to create a "dividing line" between "good" and "bad". What's God's definition of "bad"? Lying 500 times? Lie one more than that and you go to hell? Even if it's something like where you don't want to tell your spouse he looks like crap or something when he really does? I don't think that's a fair system if you ask me.

That's why there is a system of grace under Christianity, this way, anyone has a chance of redemption. Also this way, noone can brag that they are "more good (better)" than someone. Even someone who has murdered literally a million people can still be redeemed, that however, does not necessarily free them from the consequences of their actions here - on earth - however. But that's another argument for another time.

Well, it's one of those things that only God knows. Most believers like me say that, but I myself, don't know if I believe it myself, if that made any sense at all. For example, the most wonderful person I've ever met asked me the same question as you. She said that no one in her family believes and none of it made sense. She said she isn't sure if there is a hell, but she believed...she believed...OK, she couldn't even figure it out then, so I'm not going to even try to repeat it She was so lost and confused. I find it hard to believe that if her parents raised her to not believe it, that if she died tomorrow, she would go to hell. She was one of the greatest person I've ever met. All I know is that I don't know, and I pray that EVERYONE finds salvation. Some people believe, on the other hand, that people are reincarnated until everyone is on the path to salvation. not sure bout that one, but I guess it makes sense for God to save us all that way, but it sure doesn't say anything about that in the bible.

Well, long story short (and sorry this was so long) ONLY GOD KNOWS

Sorry, nice does not get you anywhere. There are people in the outer darkness who were nice. Do you realize that your thoughts go with you. What you believe will take you to where you will go. If you don't believe in anything, you may just go no where. There are different planes of existence. Jesus said my Father has many mansions and I'm going to prepare a place for you. He was talking to his disciples, but we all have a place we will be attracted to. Kind of like a magnet. You may only go to the bottom plane which has 7 levels. You may not be burning in hell but maybe you will be in a land of nothingness. Ahhhh, I prefer to believe. 50/50 chance to be right. Think it over, there is still time.!!

sweetie, nice has nothing to do with it. How could someone not believe in God? You see the sun, stars, oceans, grass, trees, people, animals....how every things is put together so perfectly. I'm sorry but the big bang theory doesn't measure up. There was intelligent design going on. Talk to God. Read the Bible. You'll get some good answers :).

Sorry - Hell was invented by the catholic church ... and,

to the dismay of most christians - heaven is on it's way to earth ... the Kingdom that is - it is called Yahweh Shammah and should be here shortly - none have died and gone there excepting our Messiah and Saviour - Yahshua.

Only the righteous will inherit the kingdom - the wicked will be ashes under the soles of the feet of the righteous in that great day that will burn them up like an oven ...

Didn't want to spoil your dreams.

Peace;

I am still dialing. Seems St Peters is busy, haven't got the answer yet.
I'll ask your question soon he picks the telephone. OK??!

Meanwhile, why dont light a candle and put your finger there, see how it feels.
If the answer is you're gonna be thrown to hell, at least you know roughly what it's like.

Yes. The Bible says that you cannot get into Heaven by works alone (2nd Corithians I think) and even if you don't believe, you will go to hell.

No because the concepts of heaven and hell are ficticiously contrived to gain control over people ...just try and remain nice ...and maybe you'll get some return in this life .

Hell will be chock full of "really nice" people.

How about you? Will you be there?

Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

No, neither hell nor heaven exist. You'll just be dead, like all the believers, and like Jesus. If he ever lived at all, he's long since dead. Dead, dead, dead! Crucified, dead, and buried. Dead and never coming back, despite bragging about how he would. Didn't come back then, hasn't come back since, isn't back now, and won't be coming back in the future.

Why not? Because, for those who missed the point the 1st time around, he's DEAD!
