There have been a few times where people just don't take the time to lock the door when they want to use the toilet........why?
There have been times where I or someone I know walked into someone using the toilet.
Yeah sometimes we should knock too but this happend at public restrooms that have signs outside the door that change to show if the bathroom is occupied or vacant.....people if i see a sign that says vacant I assume its accurate..
Why don't some people lock the door when they pee?

LOL! I don't know and I am the absolute worst about this. Sometimes I don't even shut it all the way. Hey! Can I blame my troubled childhood and boarding school?

Sometimes they run out of time because if they take the time to lock the door they'll end up peeing on themselves.
I have many times had to go in a restroom that has a broken lock because it was the only one available. Sometimes I can hold the door shut with my arm, but other times I can't reach it & so just cross my fingers that no one opens it. Thankfully I have only been walked in on once, a looong time ago.

it's because of germs, see? it's a public toilet so when somebody has finished peeing, sometimes they forget to wash their hands and in doing so, they will touch the door knob with unwashed hands and that's very UGH! see?
and i think another reason is people is used not to lock their own bathroom doors at their respective houses. that's why, they unconsciously forget to lock doors on public toilets, see?
then, there's this "weird group". maybe they have some far out things on their minds and they intentionally leave the door unlocked, hoping someone would enter and God-knows-what-next.....

I once went to the restroom at work without locking it. One of my co workers walked in and it was embarrassing for the both of us. I have no idea why I didn't lock it. I probably had my mind on something else.

Sometimes the locks on bathroom stall doors are broken. What are you going to do when no other stalls are open?

ha ha i totally agree... and i dont know why? My brother does it, he wakes up in the night and goes to the toilet, and more embarrassing when i have a friend over?! He says if they can here him peeing why would they come anyway.. i just call it sheer laziness.. all you have to do is push a button!.

I would some how assume that you might hear them...
Also, some doors in public toilets are nasty and that would explain why they wouldn't lock them.

Why would you not knock EVERY time you come up to a closed bathroom door?
Were you raised in a barn, by animals who don't know to knock?

Maybe they get a kick out of people walking in on them. It takes all kinds you know. There are a lot of freaky people in this world.
