I met a guy through our mutual friends and we are considering if we are the right ones for each other seriously although we are on two coasts ( I used to live there a while ago, although never met him then!). We met only for a couple of days in July and we are considering to meet up for a couple of days in next month or so.
Now, he wants me to accompany him for a vacation to Southern Hemisphere since he wants to get away from the winter blues.
Although I am not quite keen since I am of the opinion to go on such trips as such only when things take some sort of shape or ground or only when there is a a definiteness to the relationship as such. I am in a fix to be able to decide.. I would be able to state my reason as such.. but I am not sure if I might regret it later due to lack of being open-minded or just being sentimental about my values which are getting in my way to be a risk taker. I am looking for objective thoughts.. Truely appreciate it... Thanks so much!!

sorry --- depending on your age and funds available to you --- go have a break get to know him --- if it does not work out leave and either spend time by yourself or go home --- its just a trip if you have separate accommodation then you are just fellow tourists --- if nothing else you get to see some more of the world --- especially is you come to Australia --- you may both find someone better --- the girls are gorgeous and the guys are said to be good as well --- best wishes

i think it depends on how much you like this guy and if you see potential in him. before the vacation though i would talk with him and see where he stands and if he wants something serious with you as well, then i would consider going on the vacation. you never know until you try and if you dont try you might end up regretting it in the long run. good luck

well think you should go with him. doing this with him will also show that you are interested in taking him seriously. i think it would also be fun to go on the trip. if you decide you dont like him when you get back, than now you have a reason to not be with him.
