Was it unexpected, did you "campaign" hard(no pun intended) for it, did someone help you lose your virginity out of pity, was the person attractive, how old were you?

She was 17 and me 18. It was in the front seat of my 54 Chevy I just put together. I still remember that night. The light from the dashboard radio made her skin look like it was glowing. She was gorgeous. It was a culmination of events leading up to that point. We were doing some heavy petting leading up to the night in the Chevy. She was very sexy and very sexual even though she never had sex before that night. And neither did I. I'll never forget it.
That was 34 years ago and every time I hear the song Paradise by the Dashboard Lights I think of her because she was paradise. We still keep in touch to this day because she was such an influence on sex, relationships and women. She'll never know how much.

My boyfriend and I went out for nearly a year before we had sex for the first time. Looking back that seems unbelievable. My boyfriend campaigned VERY hard for the few months before I finally gave in lol. We were very much in love, it was very planned - even down to the exact time we would do it. Can't say it was wonderful, but absolutely no regrets. Things got better from there when we both knew what we were doing!

A friend of mine held off for nearly TWO YEARS with her boyfriend. You know the John Lennon song "All we are saying, is give peace a chance"? Well he and his mates followed her around singing "All we are saying, is give sex a chance". She nearly died of embarrassment but gave in a week or so later ;) I always thought that was classic.

Lost my virginity at age 14. I was in love and felt a very powerful connection with my boyfriend (had a special relationship for 20 years) It was planned, we had discussed it thoroughly before we made that decision. I did not feel pressured, it was what we both wanted to do, and it was very special. The first time should be a special, magical moment that you'll always remember. I sure do!

I was 15 and I did just because I figuered it would be fun. It wasn't, in fact it sucked!!! After that I met someone I actualy cared about and then was pressured into sex with her in a bathroom before I was realy ready. I kinda wanted our first time together to be something special. Instead we shared our first time next to a toilet. Now over ten years later, I can still remember the uncomfortable feeling of our first time beign in a bathroom. We went our seprate ways three years after that night, only to occasionaly see one another from afar at random places. THANK GOD!!!!

I was 19 when I lost my virginty. And it was kinda unexpected because I had been in a sort of sexual situation 3 times with this guy but nothing happened because I wasn't neccessarily ready for it. But when it happened it hurt like hell but I endured the pain for him because I was and still am in love with him. And of course he's attractive, damn fine!

Probably a little of all of it, especially ignorance. I don't mean stupidity -- just naivity. Love, peer pressure, etc. In the end, I regretted it. The first time really should be long-though-out (not just a curiosity) and special. Please, don't be one who does it for the first time in the car. And don't do it for the first time with someone you've been seeing for less than 3 months.

LOL. I was 19, it was in my college dorm room and I'd been dating the guy for about six months.

I'm actually the one that wanted it, he's much more disciplined than I am.

He is attractive and we're now married. Craziness!

I was 16 she was 17. Met her once before for about 10 minutes. I got her phone number, called her, and we did on our first date......Something tells me that she was a little more experienced than I...

My lover and I wanted it (her more then myself) for a long time, but we took our time...we didn't rush anything in the relationship. When it happened, it was pretty unexpected but I was totally prepared (had condoms and lube handy).
