The same as far as depictions of the Blessed Virgin Mary.. That is why the casting of the Gibson Passion movie was probably more on target. Then again, I have read that depictions of Jesus with long hair might be a stretch as well. Most men back then would keep their hair really short because of lice which was rampant. Artistic depiction is just that.. How many cowboys movies included actors with perfect teeth?

I think He'd be more concerned with people trying to understand His teachings. As for people's opinions about Jesus' personal appearance, He might even find it amusing. I have a lot of European holy cards, and yes, the German ones often depict the pale-skinned, blue-eyed Jesus. Think of where the people who made those cards lived. Who would be modeling for their paintings? Not darker-skinned people. Anyway, make Jesus white, black, brown, yellow or red. Give him long hair, short hair, dreadlocks, or a crew cut. It's more important to understand His message than to quibble over His looks.

I'm sure Jesus was a pretty tough looking guy, he was a carpenter by trade, I'm sure he had a good tan going and probably had black wavy hair, Emmanuel- God with us!

BRENT: JESUS is more alive than ever, all you have to do is look on almost every street and you will see his houses of worship. He is the Great "I Am"

You can keep saying he is dead until the day you die and then you can tell him yourself when you see Him face to face....

I doubt Jesus is offended by anyone's personal hang-ups about what they think his physical appearance is. What matters is who He was/is and what that means to mankind. You sound as if you're looking down your nose at certain people for reasons that are as superficial as you claim their view of what Christ in the flesh looked like.

I think Jesus is offended when some do not accept Him as their Savior. If they say his hair is blonde then they do not accept God's Holy Word as truth and that offends Him. He wants that none should perish. God bless

His hair was reddish brown to brunet and his eyes were steal gray. But many people see him differently.
Jesus would smile at your question, I'm sure.

Jesus is a very highly advanced Master and is not offended by such small petty concerns.

When you asked that question I immediately thought of this verse...
Isaiah 53
1. Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Uhhh.
I don't think he was blonde.
Come on, he was born in Bethlehem. He would be darker complexion, not white.
So, do not ask questions that have to group all Christians together.
