Confidence is everything, even if you have to fake it. Own that haircut, make it work for you. Take the rest of this weekend to play around with it and try different styles to see what you think looks best. At school, keep thinking how awesome you look, even though you may not truly feel that way. If you can fake loving it, others will respond to your attitude and body language accordingly, so keep a positive attitude. You'll get used to it, and in just a little while you'll fake your way to genuinely loving your new haircut. Dealing with a big change like that takes some time, but don't mope around in the meantime or you'll make yourself a target for negative responses from others. And think of this: your mom loves you; she'd never send you out if you really looked that horrible. You'll do just fine.

Wear a hat. When you take it off, tell all your peers what a stupid job the barber did! You asked for X and got Y. Then laugh it off by saying "now i look like B from X show!". Laugh along with it. You know you don't like it, if it looks silly laugh it off and play along. That way you will have a great memory about a bad haircut!

pretend you dont care.. or better yet pretend you like it... a person, if they actually have feelings, wont make fun of you and more importantly embarrass you if there is nothing to embarrass you with. Go to school with confidence.. confidence is the key and as long as you pretend its one of the best hair cuts no one will care.

Hi JoJo. This is a true story. When I was in high school a girl I knew got in trouble with her mother. Her mother (Inez) was so mad she grabbed her daughter's long hair (which was very popular/fashionable back in the 70s when this occurred) and cut it off with scissors. Her daughter (Crystal) was mortified! She had to finish her own, new, short haircut herself and 'wear it' to high school the next day.
So, what happened? Her friends thought her new cut was so cool they wanted one too. Crystal's new hairstyle started a new fashion trend!
This is a true story. It happened at San Pedro High School in southern California.

Put some mousse or gel or pomade in it and mess it up. It'll look young and cool.
And then concentrate more on your schoolwork than how you look, 'cause, so far, it seems you've wasted your education.

It's only hair & it will grow back...& how you act will dictate how you are treated...so if you don't act like it's any big deal than they won't..."Hey dude, you got a hair cut!!"..."Yup."...end of conversation...YOU be the one in control!...
