Do you need the sun's rays or do you prefer to go to the sun itself for life? The rays are the middleman.

Now, you're clearer. I mistook that you meant the Mediators/Universal Educators/Manifestations of God.

I'm a Baha'i. The Baha'i Faith has no clergy because in this day and age, the day of the maturity of the human race, we can investigate reality ourselves and need not depend upon the literate, educated elites to make meaning for us. We are responsible to make meaning ourselves through the independent investigation of reality. Indeed, it is our primary responsibility in this life.

Symbolism used explained: Sun symbol for Source of Knowledge/Life-giver/God; rays symbol for Divine Universal Educators, with no limitations as to thier knowledge; and us, with limitations to our knowledge.

I am not sure what you mean but relating to that. The only time heard about relating to sun rays. Jesus is the light and the way, right, so the bible is the same way. when you read the bible you will see sun rays light. In order to read the bible you need sun glass. To understand this more read "the Russian Pilgrim". If you don't use sun glass, you will be blind and get lost. It is relating to "Sola Escritura". It is not using a middlemen, but a guide to understand the bible and against devil's deceives or miss leads. The devil hate man and he want man get lost and misunderstand God word and leads him to hell.

And precisely which middlemen are you referring to? I can't answer if I don't know what the question is.

If you are referring to the priesthood, we do not need them to serve as a middleman (Catholicism still practices the tradition). We do need professional theologians who are educated in doctrine beyond what the layperson has the ability to commit to, however.

HAHAHA! The priesthood--I guessed right!

Actually, Christians do not have middlemen, we pray straight to God. We pray in the name of Jesus who is also God.

Catholics, now they have middlemen. They go to "confession" and speak to priests who petition it to God.

See it takes someone to tell you about religion. It is way too convoluted for any one guy to think up on their own. Although Joseph Smith came close.

The pathetic thing is the complete and utter waste of time and $, that these believers have wasted throughout their lives.

Jesus is the middlemen. When we have prayed and can't go on Jesus steps in and go's to the Father "GOD" for us.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you are speaking of Jesus on the Cross then it is because he is the only way to God. He is the savior.

just as mr. ross showed us how to paint the happy little trees, (even though the color and shape of trees was obvious to our sight), sometimes it helps to have someone spell it out for us real simple like. break it down mr. rossman!
