Mac help??

I was trying to install photoshop elements on my mac and when I installed it, it told me to restart the computer, so I did and when it rebooted and I tried to open photoshop, it just told me to install it again. So I did and so on and so on. Why is it doing this? I got the mac today! I dont know what the problem is!

Is your PhotoShop Elements the right version for MAC OS X?

The Windows version won't work.
