I want to create a website designed to fund raise for one particular story. How would I make it so that people could donate through the website? I know there's Paypal, but what about people without that? How can they just use their credit cards to donate? And how do I link it to a bank fund? Thanks.

Careful about paypal- there are many fake paypal sites that somebody on yahoo answers may lead you to. Then all those donations would go to them, not to you. You would be stuck talking to the real paypal while the thief spends the money.
