is it wrong for me to be curious?

i was just wondering
ok, i am totally religious, and i know that being gay/bi is way wrong and i am NOT attracted to other girls....but i have questions anyway.

oh and i am talking like is it wrong MORALLY or RELIGIOUSLY even if it's not for sexual reasons, just curiousity?

1) would it be wrong for me to be curious of what kissing another girl would be like?
2) would it be wrong if i kissed another girl, even if i wasn't attracted sexually toward her, just to see what it is like?

i am NOT bi, i CAN NOT be bi

It is not wrong to be curious.
It is not wrong to be curious about what it would be like to kiss another girl.
It would be wrong to kiss another girl.

Here's why. When your curious about it but you know it's wrong then you control the urge, you avoid doing it and the phase passes. A little like the old murderer analogy. If you wonder what it's like to kill someone, that's not wrong. If you allow your emotions to take control of yourself and you actually do kill someone then yes it's bad.

Remember too that the Bible does tell us that it is what's in our heart that counts for God. So being curious could be considered committing the act but committing the act is definitely wrong. If we think of it we commit it to ourselves, if we engage with another than we cause that person to sin as we have. Even if the person is sinning how can we minister to them if we sin with them too?

Not the most linear argument but I hope you get the general drift.

It's not wrong or immoral. Many people have different interpretations of the bible.

I know you say that you can't be bi, but it's not something you choose. You are born straight, bi, or gay. If you are bi, it's okay. You could look for a new religion or just give the bible a different interpretation.

Many believe that the bible gives guidelines for life. If you are a good person, God will let you go to Heaven, and accept you for who you are. After all, he made you, right?

Now, you may not be bi. I don't know you or what you're thinking. You could just be bicurious, which is perfectly normal.

I'm not trying to change your beliefs. I respect what you believe, although there are some other opinions out there which you may want to look into.

I think there are a lot of people who are curious, just like what would it be like to do a drug, or drink alcohol or beer. The problem is that sometimes when you experiment, the wrong things seem so exciting. Why wrong is exciting I don't know, other than it is just wrong and you get tired of doing what you have been told. Because of the enticement, people can get too involved and get confused in thinking that they are gay or bi just because it is exciting. I think you should not because of these reasons, but you are the only one that can make the decision.

I don't think your curious I think that you are totally confused. First. You are totally religious. Your religion teaches you that homosexuality is wrong. (which is a bunch of crap) and now you are curious about what it would be like. First. if you are that religious you wouldn't even be having these thoughts and if these thoughts came into your mind you would be running to your religious leader to get them brainwashed out of you. Second. You say you can not be bi. Why is that?? Everyone has the potential to be something. So maybe your potential is to be bi. Did you ever think maybe your curiosity is trying to tell you something? What if your religion is wrong and your curiosity is right?

I am not a main steam-type Christian, so take my opinion as you will, but how can it be wrong to wonder about your own sexuality. It is perfectly normal, in fact I would think that it would be quite UNHEALTHY not wonder about yourself.

Curiosity isn't and shouldn't be wrong, but realize that curiosity doesn't necessarily equal action. It IS wrong to use someone that you are really not attracted to and have no feeling for just to "see what its like".

Try not to worry about it. God loves you and has made you who you are. Don't worry about whether or not you are bi and just understand that whatever you are God made you to be that. And like I said, your questions about yourself are normal and don't mean at all that you are bisexual. Relax.

Being curious is a natural thing. Being curious about something may or may not mean anything. Relax and take some of the pressure off yourself.
Wondering what it would be like to drive an 18 wheeler doesn't mean that one was meant to be a truck driver or that one would even like it.
As far as to how you explore to get your answers is up to you and you alone.

It is possible that you are a celibate. Celibates are not atracted to gir;ls or guys. I am celibate, and heve never thought that a guy or a girl was cute. I have also never been attracted to a girl or a guy, but find myself attracted to girls when they are clothed scantily. Yet never sexual attracted, jusy curious to see what is there. This is more of a curiosity thing than anything else. I have tried kissing another girl, and found it to be uninteresting. I was not atrcted to this girl, but just wanted to see what would happen. I have found that I am not attracted to her. Also I have found that there are more like me whaere we are not attracted to girls or guys. Perhapsyou should look in to it more. its called asexual or celibate. Keep in mind that I am a mother and a wife.

Its curiosity that killed the cat. But seriously, I think because of what the TV/ movies are projecting it is going to raise temptation in ones heart. Seeing a CD in a store that you don't have the money for is tempting, We will be tempted but we must not act upon them

No it isnt wrong. I think a relationship should be between a man and a woman because thats the way God wanted it BUT we have those urges sometimes...I know I do. Its no big deal if you dont act on them and even if you do if your single your just ixperimenting no biggie.

It is noy wrong for people to be curious about the same gender.Many young people are curious about the same gender.So dont worry it is not wrong for you to be curious since people get bored and sometimes think of awkward things.
