Let me state first that no one on here knows what a Mormon is or what they believe.
the Jesus of the Bible- of course we believe in that Jesus, that was the only Jesus/Savior of the World there was!
More than one wife- No we don't practice having more then one wife, before yes now NO. Only those who aren't from our Church practice that, and they call themselves Mormons as well, that's why we prefer LDS. P.S. There was polygamy in the Bible. Study.
Preaching to others to be saved- No. Just because you go out and preach doesn't mean you are going to be saved.
"priest" tells us if we go to heaven and hell. NO. We are judged by God NOT earthly men
If we go to heaven based on our families choices. NO. Everyone will pay or be blessed for what they do. My great great grandpa, or even my mom, cannot sin and then I'll be damned for it, that is not just. And I believe in a Just God.
And it does not matter what faith you are. again God will judge the inhabitants of the Earth.

We all have the same plan of salvation. Why all the division?
Jesus died to save all of mankind. All we have to do is believe. The different church methods, ceremonies and traditions really don't matter. They are man-made.
That was a good question and observation.
I am a catholic. We believe that Christ was born, Christ has risen, Christ will come again.
We do not believe that good works will get you to Heaven, but we know that Jesus did good works and commanded us in the Bible To feed the hungry, clothe the naked, minister to the sick, bury the dead, etc. Without Christ in our hearts, we would have little or no desire to do these things,
"By their fruits ye shall know them,"
We are all saved if we believe, but what's wrong with loving and serving God as well? Why say you are saved when you are consistently disobedient to His commandments? This reflects that, even though you think you're saved, you have not really accepted Jesus into your heart.

I don't know about other faiths, but Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons do not hold a saving faith because of their nonadherence to the Nicene creed and the denial of Christ's divinity as well as the Trinity. Catholics believe in the Trinity and the deity of Jesus, but they believe that hell can be avoided through a sufficiently holy life, while Protestants believe that heaven cannot be merited through our own abilities.
But we are not to take the throne of judgment for ourselves, either. We let God take care of that.

Generally, the difference between Protestants and Catholics is that Protestants believe that anyone can speak to God and have a relationship with him.
Catholics believe that the relationship with God comes through the church, aka a priest/the pope.
So, Protestants would believe that others can go to Heaven so long as they believe in Jesus as the son of God.

It Is made very plain In the Scriptures of the Bible....You must receive salvation to enter Into heaven. There Is no other way. Jesus said ...I am The Way,the Truth And The Light And No one comes unto the Father except by Me,Salvation Is so Important that God sent His only Son to earth To Die On The Cross For The Sin Of Humanity. There Is No other Way....If we could get to heaven through good works ...God would have never sent Jesus To Die On A Cross For Our Sins....

Salvation is a total work of God, not based on denominational or religious ties. But, I don't believe one can be saved if they adhere to the tenets of Mormonism, catholicism or JW's. I believe one can be saved "out" of these belief systems. None of these groups teach salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. None of these groups teach that Christ's sacrifice was complete for the forgiveness of sin and we need do nothing to gain it, preserve it or insure it. I believe God chooses out some from each of these, as well as other beliefs systems. But they will not stay in these groups, since they will no longer be able to accept another gospel.
Gal 1:6 I wonder that you are so quickly turning back from the One having called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel,
Gal 1:7 which is not another; only there are some troubling you, even determined to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8 But even if we, or an angel out of Heaven, should preach a gospel to you beside the gospel we preached to you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we have said before, and now I say again, If anyone preaches a gospel beside what you received, let him be accursed.

All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.
those who only know the teaching and "traditions" and man invented doctrine and dogma of the groups you mention will not enter Heaven unless they are able to come to God as He prescribes... Catholics are not taught The Truth nor are the mormons or the JWs.... but some few of these do manage to learn The Truth... more in the Catholic than the other two... and many from the Catholic who do learn The Truth choose to stay in the Catholic cult because of family and familiarity... I can not believe that one who was mormon who learned The Truth and came to God would stay in a mormon stake or what ever it is called... the mormon teaching is completely against God's Word... The JWs who only know the JW teaching are as lost as the mormons.
When The Rapture happens, especially if it happens on a Sunday morning... there will still be a lot of full pews in many "protestant" churches... as well as many pulpits with the preacher still standing there.... There is only One Church... those not of The Church will be left behind... along with Tim Lehay

Do you realize how many branches of Protestantism exist in the world, each with its own committees to define their version of orthodoxy? The mere existence of the various denominations spawns over disagreements over which version of dogma is correct.
There are some Protestants that believe that only their followers are the truly saved (e.g., The Church of Christ). There are other protestants that believe that, if there is a heaven, then everyone gets in (e.g. Unitarian-Universalist). Many probably fall between these two extremes. And there are no doubt many who refuse to take a position.
So it is impossible to nail down one particular thought on this matter (or many other matters). I suggest you ask the pastor of the church where you attend to see what your own branch of the faith believes. However, keep in mind that there are LOTS of others who vehemently disagree with him/her, no matter WHAT his/her position is.

I don't believe so.
Mormons believe that you can have more then one wife, but in the Bible that would be adultery. They do not believe that you have to accept Jesus to be saved, they believe that you have to go and recruit other people to the Mormon faith, and then a priest or whatever they have will decide who will go to Heaven or hell, then also believe that there is a series of layers of Heaven and Hell, that you will start on one of them, according to the sins you and your family have committed.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe in much of the same.
Catholics believe that Christ died and stayed on the cross or was put in the tomb, but did not come back to life, and that is an important thing in the Bible. They also add and subtract things from the Bible, and the Bible says not to add anything. And they think that good works will get you to heaven, they won't, only by Believing in Jesus, in His Life, Death, and Resurrection can you to Heaven.
So no, I don't believe they will go to heaven.

It depends on which Protestant group you're talking to. But on the whole, no, they don't think Catholics, Mormons or Jehovah's are going to Heaven. They don't consider them Christian. Which, ironically, is the exact opposite of what Christ himself would say. He loved all people...
