I am just wondering with all the news coverage that illeagals should automatically be deported, when caught breaking the law. I assumed that most Mexicans in our prison systems were illegal.

According to current statistics, in states closest to the Mexican border between 28% to 33% of all incarcerated prisoners are illegal aliens.
Some places, like Orange County California have taken action, with the county jails having to pay for incarceration expenses to keep illegal aliens in jail, OC Sheriff Corona made the decision to deport all of the illegal aliens in his county jail. An ICE agent is stationed at OC jail, and when a prisoner is booked their legal status is checked now, if they are not arrested for murder and facing the death penalty, that illegal alien is now deported to their own country.
Sheriff Baca of Los Angeles county has decided to install the same process in L.A. county jails. L.A. county has an estimated 33% of it's inmates, illegal aliens. A lot of them are gangmembers.

In respect to the population, illegal aliens commit a higher percentage of crimes in comparison to legal citizens and legal immigrants. Since the illegal alien population comprises less than 10% of the total population, having around 30% of the prison population as illegal aliens is clear evidence that what are coming across our borders illegally are not "honest, hardworking decent people with family values", they are, in fact, hardened criminals, drug dealers, prostitutes, theives, rapists, child molesters, and murderers.

You're paranoid. If you get your status the legal and proper way without circumventing the system no one will treat you like an illegal immigrant. Your country has the same problem as the U.S. However, you country has the good fortune of not being on the border of a sh*t hole like Mexico where the quality of life is poor and instead of trying to improve conditions for their people they encourage them to leave. Work visa's are difficult to get. You need a company sponsor and they have to prove there is no one available in the country that can do the job you will be taking.

I think the last figure I read stated that 30% of the people in our prisons are illegal aliens. Wow thats a lot. But if we just deported them, they would come back across the border the next day...

There are lots of illegals in US jails.

Look at it this way. Say an illegal broke into your house and was caught. Would you want him just deported where he can continue to enjoy freedom in Mexico (and sneak back into the US) or would you want him punished, then deported.

Well... It depends on if the mexicans are citizens or not. 0.o

But I know for a fact that roughly 33% of our jails are made up of Illegal Aliens.

see, here is another place in the united states that these illegals get free room, free board, free medical, and so on. alls these illegals know how to do is mooch off the good hardworking taxpayers of the USA! that is why there should be harsher punishment besides deporting and prison is too good for them (too many freebees). i can't say what should really be done to them for violations of our laws on yahoo because i will be violated for speaking my mind and inciting violence.
