a lot of damage to mediums, as good one's and there are are some very fine mediums
bring a lot of comfort to the bereaved.
I think James will be in total shock when he gets to the spirit world, he is making money in getting people disbelive, what a fool. What do you think.

I believe that people who are being lead by him are just mindless, scared sheep and he is only making a whole lot of money of them.
Someone who acts or talks like this hasn't a clue one as to what the truth is, nor have ever read God's words. When anyone acts this it is to pump up a false ego. Randi is not trying to help anyone else but Randi. Talk about a fake and taking innocent people for a ride is him. I would not want to be anywhere near him on his judgment day nor be walking in his shoes now.
I have known plenty of Mediums and they were right on the money with what they said. The honest ones are doing God's calling for them and the fakes like Randi boy are doing just as he is doing. Taking money from ones who cannot believe that he is just a rip-off artist and he will be found out just what he really is. He is in it just for the money and laugh ting all the way to the bank with the money that should not even be in his pocket!!

I know there are many people who believe Randi
but Randi is as much a con man as the very people he is trying to discredit
can you imagine what would happen to this man if someone won his challenge ? ... he would be out of buisness
so he makes sure that no one wins
he changes the goal posts , he has small print which makes it impossible for anyone to win , he ignores genuine people , he is just plain rude
he thinks if one person can fake mediumship , then all must be fakes
this is a site that has letters going back and forth to Randi which shows just that , although it is a huge amount of reading .. but there for anyone who wishes to take the time to read

Very fine mediums? Who? I'd like to see the one that isn't a total faker, pretending to hear voices from dead people. My mother died in 1994 and I still miss her a lot, but I never went to a medium for comfort; I don't want false promises and silly lies. I worked my way through the grief and faced the reality that she is gone and I'm not going to see her again. If I get to the "spirit world" and find out otherwise, well then it will just be a pleasant surprise, I guess.

James Randi's goal is to only prevent people from being robbed by exposing the hucksters out there. If you think that providing comfort through lying is a good idea, then you may enjoy listening to Sylvia Brown or John Edward. These people, however, have done genuine harm, and James Randi is the most effective person out there to prevent people from being taken by charlatans.
If someone can prove that they have supernatural powers, then Randi is more than willing to admit that they're not frauds. No one has yet been able to prove that. To me, that's a superb testimony that there's very little chance that anyone, no matter how many people believe in them, has any way of contacting the dead or predicting the future.

I think he is doing a service to people by exposing the frauds and charlatans who are exploiting people, especially when they are grieving. Some of them may believe they talk to ghosts, but they're deluded.
If they can actually talk to spirits, how come not one of them can solve the murder of JonBenet Ramsey? Or find the murder weapon that killed Nicole Brown Simpson? Or find the bones of Jimmy Hoffa?

Mediums are just con artists. If you can prove otherwise, there's a million bucks in it for you - courtesy of James Randi.
There's no spirit world, and I won't comment on who the fool is.

i went to a few mediums and my grandmothers cane through very shocking as both were alive and only one grand parent was dead but he didn't come through and my best friend WHO recently died and another friend didn't, they were as accurate as someone who didn't know me at least of as accurate as cold readers at best.
they pray on the berieved and need to be licenced the ones on tv have contracts as long as your arm for participation.

Sorry, if they can't demonstrate psychic ability under a controlled environment then they are probably frauds and Randi is doing people a service.
