Sometimes it seems as if even they cost too much. Looking for NEW items and not eBay.

Dollar Store
Go to Target, Kohls, JCPenny, Shopko, Fleet Farm, Marshalls too! Even sometimes Old Navy has got GREAT sales. I go to the smaller more personal shops we have one in our city and when they have clearance sales you get to go around and tell them how much you want to pay. The chick desides if its a good price and then give it to you. go to the 75% off rack and by for the next year. Then you will have stuff. I did this when I found out I was pregnant I bought clothes for every milestone and since it was on the clearance rack I got it for like 1 to 4 dollars for brand new nice clothes. Kohls is spendier but they have a 75% off rack on occasion.

I always have this debate with my sister in-law who is a Wal-Mart/Dollar Store shopper. Whenever I get clothes from her as presents form my son they never hold up. The clothes I buy last the whole period that I need that size (6-12, 12-18 months). I shop at Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree, Macys but typically buy only SALE items. I also hit up the outlets and get the sale items. I actually went this past weekend and spent 2-5 bucks a shirt and found cute sweats for 3 and jeans from 5-10. The added bonus to these name brands is that they will be easy to re-sell! I get almost 100% back what I paid for them!!!!
As far as toys- check out craigslist.com
Marshalls, TJMaxx, try searching for yahoo groups that trade sell toys. Most of them are cheaper then Ebay and have better shipping rates.
Use coupons For diapers and if you have a Grocery Outlet nearby check that out. I buy pampers and I believe I saw them their for 10 bucks less for a huge box!

Your best best is just to get out of season stuff - buy clothes now for NEXT summer. They'll be new and you won't have paid a lot for them.
Check out any bargain stores in your community too - they have lots of great NEW deals. The trick is to start going to place you haven't been before. Sounds like you're used to Target and Wal-Mart but if you head into some other stores you might find some stuff you wouldn't have thought you'd find there!

1. What brand of carseat/travel system do you use? Peg Perego infant I LOVED soo much! Cosco for the later months.. eh i can live with it! 2. If you formula fed your infant, which formula did you use? Or if you breastfed and pumped, what brand of pump did you have? Similac Sensitive, both were put on it. I had a madelo pump.. or modela.. wow i forgot!\ 3. Diapers/Wipes? I use Parents choice (walmart), love them, but they run kind of small, so pampers for my oldest (size 6) hate them! Wipes parents choice, also love them. 4. Shampoo/Wash/Lotion? Johnson's all. I like it. 5. Do you have any favorite brands of clothing? Geranimals! Cheap and have went through 3 kids! and look great! (my 2 and nephew) 6. What about toys? I will not longer (or try to avoid) buying cheap toys they waist my time, they are broken by time i get home.. Eh not necesarily cheap but you can feel/see the worthlessness of it 7. Any other items that you want to mention? I cant think of anything at the moment

Try the Salvation Army Thrift store or other similar charity in your area. Also, when our kids were little, we built an informal swap network among school and neighborhood parents that would "pass along" items as our children or others outgrew them.

Try Big Lots or those 99-cents stores. You can still find cheap, cheap items at Target and Toys R Us. Just check out the "Clearance" racks every now and then.
Honestly, you should try the resale shops. You can find high-quality, name-brand, lightly-used items for much cheaper prices.

Try going out this weekend and hit some yard sales, people sale all there old baby clothes for 1 or 2 dollars. As you know kids grow so fast that they don't have time to ruin anything, so its all just like new.

truthfully no there is not anywhere cheaper to get new things. but if you aren't going to be freaked out go to te thrift shop most kids don't wear cloths or use toys that long to do anything to them. Me i am getting hand me down from my mother because i have an adpotive 2 year old brother.
