Just look around you.
Every thing you see has a maker.
Your computer is made by Dell or HP..
Your home is made by a builder,
The car has a manufacturer, everything around you is made.

When we look up to see the millions of stars and the billions of galaxies, they tell us that they too have a maker.

The car is the proof that there is a manufacturer,
The laptop is the proof that there is a company called Dell,
The Sun, the moon, the millions of stars are the proof that there is a God!

Best wishes my friend.

Anti:

Seeing that you are all about proof, would you mind providing your proof that “they invented the word god to brainwash people back then”?

I’m positive that you have real evidence for this. You are not the type that would hear this from someone and believe it without clear, obvious, absolutely unequivocal proof of the time, place, and persons involved in this conspiracy to invent a word that had the magical power to brainwash people. Or even worse, make it up out of your own head and pass it off as fact. Are you?

I’m not dodging your question, however. There is no proof. There is a ton of evidence, but nothing you could call scientific proof, which I’m sure is the type of proof you have in mind.

Unfortunately, science is limited to proving physical things. Spiritual things are beyond its ability to measure and comprehend. It's like using a scale to measure the decibel level of your stereo -- you can't do it. A scale is a useful thing within its limited sphere. Outside of that it may as well be a paper weight. Same with science.

So scientific proof is useless in this arena. Sorry to say, it's probably the only kind you have ever heard of, because you’re a thoroughly modern kid, and they don’t teach modern kids philosophical proofs. It’s not your fault, but if I were you I’d be mad. Your educators have thrown away millenia worth of advancement in thought so that they could focus on teaching you the latest educational fads. You’ve been robbed of your intellectual inheritance and given baby food instead. You know science but nothing else.

Open the mind, my boy! There is more to life than is dreamt of in your philosophy.

This is my answer to a similar question. I don't know if its what you would consider for "proof", but might provide some insight nevertheless....

In Christ,
Christine

Why do I think God exists? I've been pondering that one quite a bit lately, after visiting some Atheist forums. On an emotional level, I believe that there is such a thing as "right", "wrong", "truth", etc., and that our deepest experiences and emotions are not meaningless. Without God, I think it's hard (though many have tried) to reconcile those beliefs with an Atheist viewpoint. I also believe, looking through the eyes of faith, that many of the events of my life have been shaped/guided by God, and that some of my prayers have been answered.

From a scientific standpoint, I believe that it is very difficult to conceive of a way for something to come from nothing, for life to come from lifelessness, and for self-awareness/consciousness, emotions, reasons, etc. to come from non-sentient life forms (i.e. bacteria, cells, etc), without God to either design a process to produce such a sequence, or without God to directly intervene. To be clear, we are very much physical beings--many have argued this as evidence against there needing to be a God; but I view it differently. I think that our physical bodies and our souls are related, metaphorically speaking, in the same way as a prism is with light. In a prism, every part of the prism's crystals and structures influence how light fills the prism, how it reflects the light, and so on--yet, the prism, though directly related to the manifestation of the light, does not produce the light in and of itself. Similarly, we have each been endowed by God with a light made in His image (having some of His characteristics) that is manifested, in varying ways, through our physical being. (and so in this context, Christianity's insistence on a "bodily resurrection" is very prophetic I think). We are "two in one", spiritual and physical--distinct, yet united--in the same sense that a married couple can be two in one.

Of course, my view is just one of many diverse views held by Christians.
