I'm feeling more lonely, sad and hopeless than I ever have before in my whole life. I feel worthless. My relationships are all crashing and my finances are getting tottery.

Can someone just talk to me right now?

I am sort of in the same dilemma. Hmmm...
Right now, I feel like I must drink to like just forget about everything. I guess I can call a friend I'm still cool with and just chill.
When the week begins I'm gonna start calling back jobs I applied for. I'm gonna clean the house, and little by little, on my own, I'm gonna fix my life around, even though old friends are gonna be having fun, even though others would be able to shop, while I am there, working on a resume, applying for a job, or exercising. I will improve my life by doing the things I want to do, but little by little, and maybe, if I want to, fast. You're the only one who changes your life around. Bad credit can happen, but there are ways to escape that pain. Just don't think about it much and take it easy. Do not let nightmares terrorize the dreams, hopes, and great imagination that's inside of you.

I know I can do it
I know you can do it too

Basically what you need to do is put yourself in a situation where you are surrounded all day by people you can't stand and hate very much. This way you can't wait to be alone. You want to be alone so bad. You absolutely live for the solitude. How do you accomplish this? Perhaps switching jobs if you can or take a second job as let's say a construction worker part-time or carpenter if you are more of a red-wine sipping classical music listening type of guy. Or the reverse, in an office, if you consider yourself more coarse and "real."

Please do not give up hope. Everyone, including me, has gone through tough times and believe me, they are not a reflection on who you are. I found this poem that can best express what I wish to tell you.

Don’t Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won, had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

I don’t know you, but we share a bond of humanness, we share a space in the same world. So, you see, you are not alone. As I am sitting here, I reach out to you to help you understand that life is sometimes full of hardships, but life is also full of beauty. I know you will see this again someday. I know you will find your way again. Don’t quit.

Sometimes things do get really rough. Most places have a confidential suicide prevention telephone service. You might check your phone book. They won't send the police out after you, especially if you tell them you aren't really suicidal, but you can just talk to someone there about all the issues.

You might be able to call your HMO, if you have one, and talk to a psychiatric triage (entry) person on duty. Again, you won't be admitted, but it's a place to start.

Or, you can call a mental health hotline, if there's one in your area, just to discuss everything.

Good luck! Things will work out, with time.
