Duh ... the word "homosexuals" doesn't exist in Greek because it is an English word. It didn't exist in English either when the first English translations were made from the Greek, which is why the word "sodomite" was used in Old English Bibles. More modern translations use the modern English terms for that word and dozens of others.

The term in the Hebrew and Greek was Sodomite.

What word would you suggest we use to translate that?

Pastor Art

Hm...that brings up the interesting question, "Were they really talking about homosexuals, or just sodomy in general?"

Also, to those of you who are saying it, HOW THE F*** COULD GOD HATE ANYBODY?!?! I thought God was LOVE? To say that God could hate anything or anybody is blasphemy if I have ever heard of it. What about the seven DEADLY sins, huh? Does God hate fat people too? How about greedy fortune 500 CEOs?

The Bible says to LOVE others, not HATE them! Stop being ridiculous and practice LOVE for a change instead of HATE you bigoted hipocrites!

It does not matter what you call it. It is sin and an anbomination unto God. That means God hates the practice of homosexuality no matter what you name it. Thats good enough for me . Come to Christ

It's called a translation. Would you prefer it say "sexual perversion" instead?
