I would think a week would be too long.
Your nose will tell you when it is off.

my daughter and i have a disagreement i say 1 week after the expiration date and she says she would throw it out 2 days after the expiration date if your refrigerator is extremely cold. well you will just have to use the "smell" taste to be sure.
good luck.

It really has to do with how long that milk has been exposed to higher temperatures. But generally that one week span is true.

There is no simple answer. It really depends upon the temperature of your fridge (and if it get left on the counter during breakfast, etc.)

yeah i think it's kind of up to you. personally i'm sensitive to it and i throw it out the very next day, but if you smell it and it still smells ok and--most importantly--if it still pours ok and is not chunky (eww!) then it might be ok.
