Yes. Jesus came to be the light that shines in the darkness, and He is the light of the world. So if you accept Jesus, God's Son into your life, He takes away the darkness of sin, and gives you eternal Life. Read the Book of John where the apostle John explains who Jesus really is.
God had a plan you have to pay attention to. That's why He sent His Son, Jesus to bring light into your life...not only for now, but for all eternity.

Don't believe those who claim that they received light from God. They are trained to say so! I was told to be happy so that others come and join with us to Christianity.
I taught the same to my students! When I started thinking against the flow I find out if that god is not giving happiness, why should we pretend to be happy? I still keep on asking everyday!
I was taught that we are receiving all virtues from God! Some others taught that Evils are also from God! He is testing the man making him strong! I lost the logic when I read the Bible.
It is contradictory from beginning to end. Love, anger, vengeance how all these can be coined together ! When I read Bible it is written that God lives in Extreme Darkness! Why he wanted to be in dark when he himself is the Light???

Of course! God can do whatever He wants, He is God after all. I believe He usually uses the Holy Spirit in order to do this. From what I understand is that one only needs ask. Then, my experience has taught me to be open for it, because I can block it just with an attitude.

Trust me He can and will if you let go of the past and fully accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. If you truly give yourself over to God He will provide. I know this because it happened for me. This year I have learned that we can't do anything on our own. We need God's help and guidance in all. Give your heart, mind, body, and soul to Him and see the rewards you are blessed with. But you must be ready to rid yourself of all else, as if you do, He will provide.

yes, jesus is the light of the world. and he calls us to be the lights of the world and spread his message to all that will listen. if you feel like you are going through a dark time in your life, then maybe god is calling you, testing you , to see how far down you have to go before you reach your hand to him to pull you back up. he's waiting to pull you up anytime that you are ready. just call out to him. he loves you. god bless.

Yes, if you ask and pray for his help and guidance. Unfortunately we don't always get what we pray for, but in God's wisdom what we have asked for would not be the right thing at that time for us.
Try sitting quietly and just talking to him, empty your heart of anything bothering you..his light will be ther for you.
