I live in America.
If we waged peace, we would all be either blown up into tiny smithereens or bowing to Mecca five times a day;
Who said we hated anybody;
How can we all have acceptance when everybody naturally thinks they're the only one that's right;
I wish more people would give, starting with the government; and helping others would be a nice thing to do.

That's a good idea - I'm going to get off the computer and help some poor old lady through a door.
(And my mom said the internet wasn't good for me!)

it all comes down to money . If a corporation can make more money on peace than war they will lead the rush to spread peace. Until then the big defence contractors wil continue to sell arms to both sides. Sad but true. Corporations are not persons ! They were given this status and it has been downhill since . Because a corporations only goal in life [and they "live " forever] is to make money for their shareholders and since there is no one to go to jail for " immoral " acts, the only "language " they understand is money. Sad.

Good idea. Go ahead and do that.

I think you'll eventually find that the cause is hopeless. God tells us that this is a fallen world and part of the fall is greed, envy, jealousy, strife, unjust hatred, bitterness, revenge, etc.

All of these will lead to fighting between people and a war is just a really big fight.

Since Adam and Eve life has been corrupt. Adam blamed it on Eve and Eve blamed it on the serpent. Just like today, instead of taking responsibility for the decisions we make we almost always find blame in others. It would make life much easier and wouldn't be that hard to maintain if we all took more responsibility for our choices and decisions!!!

Because religion has spread the word of hate. Love thy neighbor but hate all non believers. Then wage war on them.
We Are Right

We probably won't, if history (which has a bad habit of repeating itself) is any indicator... but many individuals (outside of the masses) do practice Love and Tolerance on a regular basis. The masses, however, in the waning years of great civilizations, have always degenerated into barbarism.

Because it's a lot harder to wage peace, teach love, acceptance, and kindness than it is to wage war and feel negative emotions.

read these lyrics or just dwnload the song

War

Until the philosophy which hold one race superior
And another
Inferior
Is finally
And permanently
Discredited
And abandoned -
Everywhere is war -
Me say war.

That until there no longer
First class and second class citizens of any nation
Until the colour of a man’s skin
Is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes -
Me say war.

That until the basic human rights
Are equally guaranteed to all,
Without regard to race -
Dis a war.

That until that day
The dream of lasting peace,
World citizenship
Rule of international morality
Will remain in but a fleeting illusion to be pursued,
But never attained -
Now everywhere is war - war.

And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes
That hold our brothers in angola,
In mozambique,
South africa
Sub-human bondage
Have been toppled,
Utterly destroyed -
Well, everywhere is war -
Me say war.

War in the east,
War in the west,
War up north,
War down south -
War - war -
Rumours of war.
And until that day,
The african continent
Will not know peace,
We africans will fight - we find it necessary -
And we know we shall win
As we are confident
In the victory

Of good over evil -
Good over evil, yeah!
Good over evil -
Good over evil, yeah!
Good over evil -
Good over evil, yeah! /fadeout/

Because other brave souls tried and were killed for their efforts (John Lennon & Martin Luther King, to give you two examples).
