I took my female dog to the vet for this because she has a rash and hives off and on since she was a baby. He told me she has allergies. I kind of laughed, but he said dogs can get them just like humans do. My dogs gets a rash on her stomach, throws up, has a runny nose, and sometimes itches her ears constantly. He told me when she does this to just give her a benedryl.

I'd suggest you take your dog to the vet and have them look at him/her. Your dog might have allergies like my dog, or they might have gotten into something like poison ivy which is causing a rash.

Good luck to you!

Try feeding your dog either a lamb and rice dry food or prepare her food yourself so that you know she is getting good food. YOu can do research on home prepared dog foods online and get lots of results.

Another thing that may really help your dog is giving her digestive enzymes everyday. You don't need to get them from the vet, you can get them from the health food store or the vet, which ever you want.

Digestive enzymes will help her digest her food more efficiently and likely stop the hives.....unless the hives are caused by stress of being alone.

If she is stressing when you leave her alone then you need to teach her that it's ok for her to be alone sometimes, that you will always be back to see her soon.

Dogs hate when we leave them.

He can have fleas or any other parasite(corresponding to mites), or as others have mentioned a steady hypersensitive reaction no longer regarding fleas. I could name the vet, meanwhile you'll get hydrocortizone spray from the puppy retailer, and spray him. Still a vet could additionally have got to see it. The vet can scrape the epidermis to look if there's a parasite, and what to regard it with-if wanted.
