God superintended the human authors of the Bible so that while using their own languages, writing styles and personalities, they still recorded exactly the message God wanted us to have.
The Bible was not dictated from God, but it was perfectly guided and entirely inspired by Him. A crude way to illustrate this miracle is to consider how you would write things down on paper. When you write a letter, do you write the letter, or does the pen? Obviously you do; the pen is merely the instrument you use. It is the PEN which actually does the writing -- but only writes as you move it. God used men as instruments to write His "letter" to humanity.
Perhaps a better example would be how a beautiful sunset inspires a painter to capture the scene on canvas so that you can see what he saw, or a writer inspired to compose a description of the sunset - the light, the colors, the entire experience that he witnessed which you can read and understand what it was he saw. Much of the Bible is history and the writer simply wrote down what he saw and heard like the artist and the writer in the above example.
Other parts of the Bible are dreams and visions that prophets had of the future - over 2,000 of which have already come true.
And other parts of the Bible are instructions on how we are to live and what we must do to be saved so we can have eternal life with God in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Prophecy and history is mainly included in the Bible so we can check it out and see if it was accurate so that we can confidently have faith in the bits we are unable to test and verify. Many other religions require you to go by faith alone that what they are saying is true and to just trust your feelings.

"For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written."
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
Writing sacred records and the recording of genealogy began with Adam and his immediate family. Adam and the early patriarchs had a perfect language that was both spoken and written. This was an important intellectual ability of the people of God, and was given by inspiration. However, among nonbelievers it appears hat there was an intellectual retrogression, so that many peoples subsequently have been without the blessings of a highly cultured spoken and written language. There has been a gradual renaissance in literary things, but nothing yet has equaled the pure and undefiled language of Adam. The promise is, however, that perfection in language and writing will return in the future with the full establishment of the kingdom of God on the earth.

The original 1611 King James Version Bible (first of it's kind) was directly translated from the original Hebrew and Greek texts.
The Old Testament was translated from the Masoretic Hebrew texts. The New Testament was translated from the Textus Receptus Greek texts.

They were Inspired By God. The Holy Spirit Worked Through them. They weren't like us always surrounded by constant noise, they set aside quite time for God. Sometimes I wonder how I can hear myself much less God with all the noise going on around me. We have to set aside time To Worship and Listen,Be still and know that I Am God...Blessings
