Just to add to the other answers. Ever see a cloth horse saddle? Cowboys know Leather wears better. Other than soap and water even bath soap will clean up and make like new again. Lexol And other cleaner conditioners once or twice a year and you will get 10 years easy. Leather Wears Better. Cloth seats may hold you better in the turns.

I used to have cloth seats, left the window cracked, rained and sinky forever. Now I have leather. If you keep it conditioned, if will stay nice for years to come. With fabric though, it eventually becomes dry rotted and spraying febreeze on cloth actually causes the dry rot to progress further, especially for fabric you can't wash or soften regularly. Not to mention, fabric becomes lightened over time by the sun. Leather will not lighten with sunlight. I keep saying leather, it's actually vinyl.
Leather does capture more heat but I like the way it feels and the way it looks. Personally, I wouldn't have purchased my Nissan Maxima if it weren't for its' leather interior. But when I got my Maxima, I had to scrub the s*** out the interior because of the ground in dirt, but at least it will come out.
One more point you might want to consider... Many Nissan Altimas didn't come with leather standard, even in the luxury models.

Leather is much easier to keep clean, and is considered "more luxurious," but it also gets FAR FAR hotter in the summer (if you live in a hot climate, its a huge difference), costs more, doesnt really add much to resale value, etc etc.
Personally, i love the look and feel of leather, but living in texas, cloth is the way to go (I have to park outside most of the time).

I would go with leather. Well it depends where u live but i still think leather is better. I think this because it is easier to clean and never gets too hot. When you go inside of it it looks less messy and more comfortable it is more expensive though... but otherwise it is much better.

I live in Phoenix, AZ where the temperature gets to 120 degrees during the summer. I'll stick to cloth in my climate, but if you live in a place other than Hell, AZ then you could go with nice leather seats.

Leather is classier. It is very easy to clean and take care of. On the flip side, you may sweat in the summertime, and you have to be more careful not to scratch it. I have leather and wouldn't go back to cloth. .
