Theres this place that teaches all kinds of martial arts, i was gonna go for Muay thai classes then maybe BJJ, but theres a class called mma. Would i be better going for mma classes?
Do they teach muay thai & BJJ in mma classes?

The thing about MMA is that its a composite of many styles, so while there are elements of Muay Thai and there may be elements of Brazilian JuJitsu you wont be learning either style in its entirety. By the way, where is this school of yours? I've yet to find a place that has quite so prolific a MA styles offering.

I would shop around and watch some of the classes at all the schools that I was considering for a couple of reasons. First, it pays to shop when looking for a school and/or instructor. Second when Bruce Lee movies came out in the early 70s a lot of instructors were all of a sudden Jeet Kune Do stylists and later when the television series Kung Fu came out many instructors were Kung Fu stylists. While MMA type classes and fighters have been around for several years and some instructors as well many others are jumping on the band wagon to cash in. Buyer beware.

Muay Thai mixed with Jujitsu is basic MMA. The MMA class would just show you how to blend them together. Practicing them separately makes them stronger.

ok i went to a all mma school like you for about half of year it was good i learned a lot but you only need to be there around a half a year or a year to learn most of the basics like me then i suggest since you already know a lot about each MA you go to a gym take some kickboxing and then do a MA like bjj to learn a lot thats what i did and i m heading in ufc in a year or 2 hopefully i don t get my brains killed

It depends on the place/instructor. They might teach muay thai and bjj, or they might not. Best bet is to go to the MMA place and ask what they teach.

If you join the MMA place and find that the place isn't for you, you can just go back to your first idea (muay thai then bjj)
