2 Peter 1:20-21 says:
Above all, you must understand that NO prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's OWN interpretation. For prophecy NEVER had its origin in the WILL OF MAN, but men spoke FROM GOD as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
So, to answer your question yes, I believe that the Bible is 100% God's words.

That is a great question!
well I'm sure we can exclude the maps and the concordance in the back and the table of contents in the front but that is probably understood.
Some things Paul says he will say this is me and not a word from the Lord but will add "but I also have the Spirit of God" (meaning on that matter)
All the scriptures speak of one thing, Jesus for sinners. Jesus told the Pharisees "You search the scriptures that you might have life but these are they which testify (speak/ teach) concerning Me.
This is scriptures aim to point to the Promise and this Promise Gen 3:15, is Christ. He is the promised seed that has been sown in the earth crucified, died and was buried and on the third day rose from the dead. So, what scripture is, is a testimony of Christ.
Let me give you a case in point. Look in Eph. 5 and read that chapter. It says for husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church and Wives to submit themselves to their husbands as unto the Lord. But when you read further Paul turns things in a different direction when he says that (Really) what he is talking about is Christ and the Church. So, right after saying that he turns his attention now truly to husband and wives and says about them "NEVER THE LESS, husbands love your wife as your self and see that the wife respects her husband" This is different than what he just got done saying "husbands love your wife as..." Why? because the one was speaking of Christ and the Church and the other much more clipped was practical instruction.

There seem to be a LOT of Bible haters out there...why are you all answering questions in the Religion section if you're so down on Religion? If it's not for you, fine...go to another section. Why continue to bash the people that are religious?
I truly the believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by men.

2 timothy 3:16 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God"
paul was filled w/ God's Spirit.
paul merely wrote down what the LORD told him.
each book in the bible is like that .... God wrote all the books... He merely changed secretaries.

I find your question rhetorical. Paul wrote the Book of Romans. Paul wrote things that defined what he was saying as his own words and opinion. But what Paul had was a keen understanding of the Old Testament and the will of God. Even with the other disciples, he had no equal that I can observe.
He started out by saying:
1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— 2 the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures
3 regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, 4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
He said who was writing it.

Christians say that the Bible is the Word of God because God inspired the authors of the books to write the words they wrote. If you want to get down to an extremely technical, almost petty level, the words were written by Paul, but God told him what to write.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Sounds like 100%, don't you think?

They are the words that God inspired Paul to write. So yes they are God's words.
On a side note I highly recommend reading Romans. It is a great book.

lt's 'organic', in other words, the Bible has been written by ordinary people with their own mistakes and personalities. God didn't dictate it word for word, but yet uses it in an amazing, mystical way.

40 different men wrote the bible and maybe their personality shows in some of their works. But the main idea is God's and he directs them what to say. Different times call for different instructions.
