God is not invisible mate, its right in front of you. All that is, is God.
"The word God exists because of the observance of universe, through the passage of evolution we have studied it. We were made in its image."

A God outside of the universe is something you can't think of.
Being in a box you can't think of what is outside of the box therefore the images with in the box our from the box, and a God outside of the universe is a mental impossibility. AKA he's invisible. Yet at the same time, "it" is not.

You (the Real You) are.

You are an Invisible Spirit, living in a Visible Body.

You, a Spirit, look Exactly like your Body.

When a Human Being Spirit comes out of their Body, the Body falls over.
You are the Life of your Body (Earth-Suit).

Well one way to answer that question is to say we are made in the image of God and look very much like Jesus, who had a body just like we do and looked very ordinary.

But you really want to know what it means in Genesis. And what it means is that he made us like him. We have the capacity to talk, to listen, to think, to create (in a sense), to be passionate, to have hopes and dreams, to love, to hate. These are all qualities that God has too. We are in him image in that we are like him in our character. We also have a spirit as God has a spirit, we have a body, as Jesus has a body, and we have a soul -- a being -- as God has a being. God IS life and we have that life in us. That's how we're an image of God.

When God said that He was making man in his own image, did not mean that we are to have all of the power and the glory that the Lord God has Himself; as to be invisible, and be able to appear at any time we desire, as Jesus had the power to do. If you read in the New Testament, especially after the resurrection of Jesus from the grave, He could appear to his disciples at any time He desired, or He could also be gone any time that He chose to do so. When we are told that we were created in the image of God, it meant that we would have the ability to recognize God as our Heavenly Creator, be able to have knowledge that none of the previous creations had, speaking of the animals that were created. They did not have the ability to speak and to think as we humans speak and think. We are given power over the previous creations of God, just as God has power over us. We are given a soul and a spirit, with a desire to know and to follow after God, and be taught by Him. Just as God has all power over all the creations which exists, including mankind, He has also given us all power and authority over the other previous living creations. I believe that the words, in his likeness, would better explain what God meant in his Word.

God is Spirit, and the Image of God in man is the spirit God made to live in him.

How would we be able to look at one another? With a light too bright for any mortal creature to look upon...

I guess that might make Him invisible to some.

haha great question!

i think it's because in the beginning God was visible
it was sin that separated man from God
so yeah.. now we can't see him and wonder if he's there because the world went to hell.
such a shame!

see, now god is not invisible, no. he is flesh, like us. but he is just SOOOO glorious, that even to see one of his fingers, we would go blind!
if you go to Moses' story in the bible, you will come to a place where moses asked to see God, but he was so bright, that god explained so.
