Recently, or long ago? TaB is a diet soft drink made by the Coca Cola Company snce 1962. It was the second diet soft dink on the market, as RC Cola's Diet Rite was first in 1958. However, TaB took overt the market for years until the advent of Diet Coke in the mid 1980's,and now TaB sells just a fraction of what it used to do, due in large part to the fact that Coca Cola refuses to promote it anymore, and no advertising has been spent on TaB since the early 1990's.
You can still buy it in places, depends on the area of the USA.
So, when was the last time you drank a TaB?

I think the first and last time I tried it, was in the mid 70's. I
didn't like the flat taste of it. And it seems to me, that it had an
aftertaste. It was not a popular drink, and there was always
alot of stock on hand at the stores. It was at a time I was trying some of the other labels of pop, wanting something new, rather than just Coke and Pepsi and Dads' Root Beer
and 7 Up, Squirt and Sprite.
They stopped selling the Nehi brand of flavors,and the Old
Crown Colony in the NW. I never heard why that happened.
But I sure missed the Green River flavor no one seems to make anymore.

Coca-Cola doesn't refuse to promote Tab, it's just not a flavor that would benefit from much promotion. Any time that Coke 12- or 24-packs are on sale, so is Tab.

I never actually drank the TaB you're describing. However, Coca-Cola has a new thing now by the name of "TaB Energy", which I had last summer and is actually pretty decent. I like that better than similar energy drinks.

I picked up a 6 pack of TaB here in So Cal a couple months ago. It wasn't bad. Actually, it tasted better than I remember. But Diet Coke NO splenda is still the best.

It's been about 4 or 5 years since I last had a TAB. It was one of my favorite sodas to drink as a kid.

I had one several years ago at my sister's because she doesn't drink Aspartame. Even though I drank it in the 80's, I thought it tasted terrible when I last had it. Thank goodness for Diet Coke.

Proabbly a couple of months ago.I bought it because I had forgotten all about it.They have come out with new tab product now.Like energy drink?
Brings back memories.

I had a TaB pop about a month ago. I have a daughter named Tabitha, and we tease her about it being "her" pop. She wanted to try it, so I had one also. :)
