To become a Registered Nurse, you enroll in either a 2 year Associates Degree nursing program, or at a 4-year university for your bachelor's degree in nursing.

All programs are different on what they require for courses prior to admission, but most will want college level general biology, chemistry, and anatomy & physiology at the least.

Either route will allow you to take your RN licensure exam (the NCLEX).

To become a nurse...

A. The first thing you must do is make sure you really want to become one.
B. Second thing that you must do is graduate college.
C. Third of all, you must find a college graduate school that will supply you with a medical degree. Here are the top 5 medical schools in the united states:

1. Harvard University
2. John Hopkins University
3. Duke University
4. University of California
5. Stanford University

D. Once you earn your medical degree, you can start looking for a job opening, if you want to start out easy, it is recomended that you go to your local doctors office and ask for a job (don't forget to show your resume!). If you want a bigger challange and to earn more money, a job at the nearest hospital is the right thing for you. To get a job at a hospital, go to the employment center and ask for a job (once again, don't forget to show your resume!). That is all there is to getting a job as a nurse.

You have to have a 4 years, or more bachelor of nursing ( in a college, U.B.C. Phoenix, or wherever you are...) and before that a 2 years bachelor in (college)for being accepted in a university.
Your high School graduation should have 90 in every subjects Specially in math and Sciences.( I am still talking about Canada.) A +.

Take a college course leading to an RN - often this can be done in two years at a community college, and will include both classroom and clinical work. After you graduate, you'll have to take and pass a state test.

Good luck.
