everytime they are out the start making like a quacking noise, which kind of sounds like a duck. What are they doing?

They're trying to find other birds that may be around in the neighborhood like dogs, dogs bark to talk to other dogs. that's what your birds are doing.

they are talking trying to mimic the other birds around them. It's a meet the neighbors type of deal. It might also be happy bird noises. My sister's bird sounds like he's honking or quacking when he's sitting next to her or hears a song he likes.

I believe they've heard ducks in the vicinity. One of our parakeets imitated the smoke alarm, and barked just like our poodle. He would mix those sounds into his regular series of chirps and whistles.

if you watch a show with those noises they may have picked it up. talking birds do that. if you say something too much, they'll repeat it. lol, my friend's bird Coco does those noises. i woke up and heard it.
