I kind of have my own system of beliefs. I believe there is a god, but I don't think any religion is the true religion. I've kind of drawn beliefs from all over, from many different religions. When people ask me what religion I am, what should I say? I don't like to say that I don't have a religion because that seems to say I don't believe in anything.

I was raised as a Pentecostal Christian, so I have read the Bible.

Please, I don't want people telling me that I can't prove my religion. I choose what I want to believe in based on what makes sense to me.

I'd say Eclectic.

I suggest you take the Belief-O-Matic (no, I'm not kidding--link below) and it will give you very accurate results. And it's not just the basic few religions you would expect, but basically every faith and belief system is included. Good luck!

Hmmmm...
If you believe that a god exist, then you are a theist.
if you believe that there is one god, then you are a monotheist.

I can't tell if you are a Universalist because I don't know if you believe in the existence of hell. Well they say that Universalism is a religion and theology that generally holds all persons and creatures are related to God or the divine and will be reconciled to God. Are you comfortable with the said definition? Do you define yourself that way?

Maybe you're just a religious tollerant person.
If a person asked you what religion you belong...just tell them you're religious.

just say 'I believe in God' .
have you read the whole New Testament of the Bible? That will help you decide in an educated way and not based on what you have drawn from others.
May God show you the truth.

What are you if you have beliefs from many religions?

Confused most likely!

You are welcome to have your own system of beliefs but how do you know those beliefs are true? How can you trust them? If different religions all contradict each other then how did you determine which bits to adopt and which to reject?

Unless you have something to test or compare different beliefs against, how can you tell what is true and what is false?

The word for combining lots of stuff is eclectic. If you want me to spit up a soup-can label for you, I'm gonna need more info on what you believe.

*edit*
And good job, it's refreshing to find someone else who's concocted their own beliefs after learning and searching. : )

You sound like a deist - or a Unitarian Universalist. You might investigate them if you feel the need for a label.

Sounds like you are spiritual. If you are living a good, loving, accepting others regardless of their differences, no judgment, and God come first in all that you do.

Syncretist?

Edit: Yeah, syncretism makes the most sense to me: "combination of different beliefs: the combination of different systems of philosophical or religious belief or practice." http://encarta.msn.com/dictionary_1861717745/syncretism.html
