Ok, well I work out about 5 times a week, and my brother just told me that i will lose muscle if i smoke. I really don't believe that statement, so i am pretty much asking, does it really decrease muscle? And no, i do not smoke and work out at the same time, and don't tell me how bad it is, because i am quite aware how harmful smoking is to the body.

You brother is full of it. I ride bikes everywhere . . . my legs are solid. Counterbalancing the harmful effects of smoking with good cardiovascular exersise keeps you healthy.

Plus, smoking cigarettes does look cool --- very cool!

Keep smoking, keep working out . . . you'll live many more years than the pigs who eat fast food and home cook out of boxes.

I have not heard my Dr. say smoking will lead to muscle loss. Lipator over time does so if you have high cholesterol you may switch. But in your case tell your brother to get off your back and anyone else that answers your question. In the words of one of my coworkers your a candidate for being the "healthiest person in the grave yard". Smoking and working out, give me a break.

i be responsive to that extremely some companies available do not hire human beings who smoke. that is extra probable that employers do screening in the past the employment. Employers think of that human beings who smoke could have extra well-being themes than non-people who smoke. one extra reason i could have the potential to think of of is that human beings who smoke alway want to take smoke wreck, even throughout they're on the clock. i be responsive to a lot of human beings around me that smoke, and that they don't look with a view to withstand whilst they needed to smoke.

I work around fairly thoughtful folks. They exit in the warehouse to smoke. Consideration is the important thing. There needs to be bans because most persons aren't considerate of others.

I have honestly never heard of that and think it's a load of bull. But with some people, smoking curbs the apetite. If you don't eat and starve yourself, then you lose muscle. Other than that, I have never heard of a connection with smoking and muscle mass. I think he may be just trying to scare you but google it up. Couldn't hurt.

well, if you don't care about your body enough to quit smoking, then why the hell are you working out? if you think it's okay to kill yourself and then make up for it by working out, you're an idiot.
