Saving someone, never springs to my mind. I just tell them about Jesus and leave the saving up to God.

I think of a beautiful Saturday morning when I'm snuggled in my bed. Knock! Knock! Someone is at my door and it's only 7 am...I ignore it and again Knock! Knock! I get up pissed because I finally get a chance to sleep in after a long week of work. Open the door and find 2 women and 1 man asking me if I've been saved! Are you freakin' kidding me! It's f***ing 7 am on a Saturday Morning!!! Slam!! The door is shut and I'm back off to bed!

In the R&S sense, it is impossible for one human to save another. We do not have the ability.

We can "save someone" in a getting them out of a dangerous situation though.

Honestly, the first thing that came to my mind is everyone around the world. Might sound ridiculous to some but my heart aches for those searching for the truth and purpose for their life! Oh how I wish people of all nations and tongues would accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. (I completely respect everyones beliefs and do not press this upon them for they have the right to choose.) Just a few verses to share as to why I believe...

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." Romans 10:10-11

Jesus said, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:30

for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. " 1 John 5:13

"Saving Someone" to me means being a good and active listener when the person wants to unload.

Anyone who is that loyal is golden.

More people have been "Saved" by a good friend who simply was there and took the time to listen closely when the other person was all upset...

Jumping in and hauling them out of the water? That is the only way I can think of to do it. The rest is up to the Lord Jesus, I can't save the soul of anyone.

Mans "true self" is in need of assistance.
If the true self is located, it will be a shining mirror that will be of benefit to all mankind.

If the self is known, then it might be possible to help others find themselves.

This is the someone that needs to be saved.

I got a commendation from the U.S. Air Force for saving a man from bleeding to death. I held pressure on his leg wound for 20 minutes until medics came to take over.
