To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.
As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that
That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more. Drinking only Slim Fast is just another way of starving yourself of some nutrition, so it's not a very healthy way to lose weight.
Also, a little "splurging" is very important for most diets. Now, I don't mean having a giant bowl of ice cream every day or two.... I mean having a little something (A candy bar, A scoop of ice cream, or something else small) to calm major cravings when they come.
It's a better way for your mind to take it than "cheating"... that's just setting yourself up (psychologically) for failure.

unfortunately the odds of you decreasing the body fat from Slim Fast alone are not good. Slim Fast has as much sugar in it as a regular soda, it's nothing but sugar water with a little protein added. a decrease of weight on the scale in the 1st week would be from water only from any diet let alone Slim Fast. it usually takes 3-4 weeks on a healthy balanced diet of whole foods before there is measurable fat loss.
to take the guess work out of dieting get yourself some hand calipers to take your own body fat readings. you can get them online for $15

Even if you had lost weight in one week, it will have been water weight. You are setting yourself up to be disappointed if all you are doing to lose weight is Slimfast.
In order to lose weight, and I am assuming you are doing it to slim down (i.e. lose some fat, but if I am wrong I apologize and you can pretty much disregard the rest of this...lol), the only way you are going to do that is do lots of cardio. You need to get your heart rate up and keep it there for at least 20 minutes but ideally more.
Me for instance. I have been attempting to lose weight by trail hiking on a vigorous trail/joggin. The first week I lost like 5 lbs. It was all water weight, because before I knew it, I gained it all back. But, In the last week or so, I have been losing those 5 lbs again gradually. This time I know it is legitimate fat and not just water weight.
It takes alot more time than a miracle pill or diet will claim. You just have to watch what you eat, smaller portions, drink lots of water, and do cardio (if it is tough for you to do cardio exercises, start slow by walking, work up to a brisk pace, then start jogging). It is slow, but be persistent and dedicated Time will fly by, and before you know it, you will have the ideal body.
Good Luck & email me if you have any questions....
