Why do some Christians still shower Benny Hinn with money--when the facts prove he is a flim flam man??

Giving money when you are entertained is an ancient practice. The hurdy-gurdy man whose trained monkey collected money from the audience is an example. And the New York street performers get money thrown in their instrument cases. When Benny Hinn puts his hands on peoples heads and pushes them down on the floor "slain in the spirit" it is entertaining, and when he preaches his "name it and claim it" gospel, and promises when you send him "seed money" you will reap a fine fortune, people are entertained and give him money.

NOTE TO SARAHLEE:
The placebo effect is well known in medical studies and many people who BELIEVE they will get better do, as their bodies heal themselves naturally without any medication and with sugar pills. This is the way they test new medicines, and they have to ALLOW for the placebo effect to determine whether the effect of the medication is higher than the placebo effect. If I were your doctor and gave you a pill and said it would cure you, you would be highly suggestive to what your doctor said, whether it was an actual medicine or a little piece of candy. A lot of people are like that. If you were healed at all it was your FAITH not Benny Hinn at all. He is still a fake and a charlatan.

Just FYI I was healed of an immune system disease that has no cure; hypothyroidism, at one of God's meetings where He uses Benny Hinn to bless other people, no one touched me and I was healed, didn't even realize it until after I was home a few days; I was on Synthroid for 40 years and all of a sudden I didn't need medication any more~Benny is a human instrument of God, God uses people to manifest His Power,
whether it is healing or miracles or salvation or deliverance~
I thought you might want to know the reality of it all
My sister went to one of his crusades at another time in another city and she had broken her ankle on both sides one winter when she fell on the ice and had a pin and a metal plate in it and when she started to walk out after the meeting realized she didn't need her cane any more
just a couple of happenings at the crusades that I know to be a certainty

BTW that was in May of 2001 and have not needed medication since, I was miraculously healed

People with Pain and Diseases want a cure...and they think Benny Hinn is the answer...HE'S NOT...anyone if they where there could perceive what they think is a miracle...its call ADRENALIN...His hands are NOT sent to heal people...I just wish all the people would realize this...!!!!

The Bible says that people who love lies, heap up to themselves false teachers. Benny Hinn will answer for his heretical deception, but the real people to blame are those that choose to give him an audience.

Therefore I find it hard to believe that a true Christian would think Benny Hinn is for real.

I think when people don't want to do the work to establish their own connection to God they turn to people like Hinn. He plays on their weakness for money.
