My hormones encourage me to procreate in the same way that dandelions clocks float off into the wind. If I had a child with a different ideology than me it wouldnt really matter, my parents are catholic and i'm not - we still love each other to death. The fact is that we love our kids - invisible men who live in the sky have nothing to do with it........!

Sure. Because I understand what the words "Unconditional Love" mean, unlike SOME divine beings I could mention.
Besides, why would I deprive a child the chance to rebel against their father? It's what has made me who I am.

I am a Mom of an agnostic... my love is the same for all my children...
John 3:17 (Whole Chapter)
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
What's the ?????????????????????

You'd think an Atheist would be a Darwinist, and a Darwinist would want their children to have beliefs that enhanced their procreative probabilities.
I want my sons to be husbands and fathers.
I want my daughters to be wives and mothers.
And I couldn't care less if they all think I'm going to hell.

I would love a child no matter what they believed, because frankly, that's not up to me.

Of course I would, what right do I have to restrict the beliefs of my children. They make their own choices, all I can do is be there for them if/when they need me.

No, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, much less on my own child. It's like asking if I would have a child knowing it would be mentally handicapped - exactly like that.
