When is a good time to catch the salmon spawn in fall?

I want to catch some salmon when they spawn in the fall... I am having trouble remembering the month it was in the last time I went. I plan on going fishing in an inlet in Marinette wis... I also need to know of the parks there....

Late October early November...not from that area so I can't help you on location...but any river will most likely have em. At my undergrad college they used to be in the creek to make their way up stream.

Salmon do not feed when they are spawning, that is their final act, they die after spawning.
