is the new phone cord any different than the old one? will the sound be better? the phones wireless....the cord is just for hooking the base in to the wall jack. my old cord is shorter and easier to use while my new one is rediculously long.

no its not any better than the one u already have. no better sound or anything. every phone i have bought comes with a cord. so which ever one u like using better u can use.

I would use the new one just because I think the phone cords can get old and frayed over time, so theres no harm in going with the new one

Nope. Same cord. Use the old one if it does what you want it to do.
