hun...take her to the vet. We have a 3 month old puppy and because of her breed she is stout. With your being such a tiny breed, i wouldnt take any chances. Where did she land? Her head, but, legs, side? It tells alot depending on where she landed. Also she could just be sore. Watch her and make sure you dont let her sleep. She could have a concution (sp). Best to find a 24 hour vet hospital and take her in, unless its early where your at, then take her, dont call just get her in. Tell them what happend and they should be able to get her in, if they are good.
And Im sorry people can be SO RUDE!! Why in the world do you guys have to torcher her any more then she already is!! I cant belive some one would tell you to call a chinesse resurant!!! THE NERVE!! The people who are saying these things need to grow up!!

Vet visit ASAP. No one on here is going to know exactly what's wrong with your puppy. Chihuahua's are very fragile, and a hard fall could cause permanent damage. Get her to the vet even if she doesn't seem hurt. You never know what will turn up once a vet starts checking her over.

You need to call a vet and have her checked out. Chihuahuas are pretty small and she could have an injury that is not apparent to you. It is worth the effort to get her checked out. You will have peace of mind knowing that she is OK. She may have an internal injury if she is just lying around and maybe she is squinting her eyes because she is in pain or has some internal bleeding. Please call ASAP. They may have some hotlines for emergency pet care. Try and find one.

How does one drop a dog on concrete? It's not a toy or a status symbol - it's a living creature which requires responsibility. Take it to the vet! And don't carry it if you can't hold onto it.

Poor baby! The only one who can help her now, is the vet. She's probably in a tremendous amount of pain, and most likely has sustained serious injuries, from the fall. Please take her in and let the vet check her out to see what he can do to help her. I hope by the time you read this, she has already been to the vet, or is at the vets. Please, don't wait until tomorrow, to see how she is, because it may be too late, and you may lose her if she's not treated immediately. PLEASE don't take that chance! I hope it's not too serious! Let us know what happens!

Hi,
I have two chihuahuas. I dropped one on cocrete when he was about 2 months old. He closed his eyes completely and seemed very tired for about 2 hours. I was scared to death! If you are really concerned I would take her to the vet immediately.

I hesitate to ask how old you are, but if you are living at home and have one or both responsible parents, they should know what is going on, if its not too late already take her to the vet, two months is very young for any kind of dog, esp, little ones like the chihuahua.......they are very very fragile!!!!!

Call your vet, if you don't have one call a Vet who has an answering service. Your dog may have a concussion and if there is no swelling on the outside, there could be some swelling on the inside.

You really should take your dog to a vet. There's a reason your two month old puppy is laying around. She may have injuries inside.

Take your puppy to the Vet. She could have a head injury especially with the squinting eyes. If this is left untreated she could have a concussion or bleeding on the brain which could kill her. She is very tiny and it doesn't take much to cause a severe injury.
