Yesterday, in Jackson, Mississsippi, a 72-year-old ex-Klansman, a citizen of that state, was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the Klan's kidnapping and murder, in 1964, of two 19-year-old boys for no reason other than that they were black. As more than a few inmates in American prisons do, let's say that once behind bars this man gives his "heart to Jesus," which, as I understand it, opens the door to Heaven. Let's say further than the two kids...who were beaten and weighted down and thrown into the Mississippi River, where they drowned...had not so given their hearts yet. Would they, in your interpretation of Christianity, go to Hell and their murderer to Heaven?

That's what the bible says. Fair, isn't it? A perfect example of why Christianity makes no sense.
Brilliant question, by the way.

As for the inmates, God judges the heart condition, not the acting job.
The two boys, that is what the promised resurrection to a paradise earth is for. Recall there is to be a resurrection of righteous and unrighteous. What would be the point of bringing those back who already chose to go down with the Devil's system? Clearly this means righteous who have chosen to serve God and unrighteous who have not had a chance to choose yet. Those who because of physical problems, early death, or never got a chance to hear of God to make a choice are included. What a loving provision God has made!

If they were of an age of "Accountability" to be able to freely chose to "Accept Christ" and did not, then Yes they would go to Hell. The fact that they were killed in ANY MANNER is NOT the ISSUE!!! DEAD is DEAD and Ends their Opportunity to "Accept Christ". The Manner of Death can and is (as U are doing here) Only an "Emotional Issue" that some People (U) use to say that God is "Un-Just" which is Not the Case. God is the Supreme Author of Justice & the "Standard" for ALL Time!!! The fact (if it should happen) the Killer Accepts Christ in Jail is Proof Positive of this!!! Gods' Word is not Void when it says in Jn 3:16: "For God so Loved the World, that He gave his Only Begotten Son that "WHOSOEVER" (All Inclusive, Rapists, Murders, etc. whatever Ur most Hated is) Believes on Him Shall Have Eternal Life!!!" John

that is why the heaven and hell concept is so bad. Jesus told the evil doer on the stake. You will be with me in paradise.
The future paradise he talked about when he said the meek would inherit the earth. The ones who are going to be there are people who love God. 1 corinthians 6:9 Unrighteous person will not inherit God's kingdom. This earth will be ruled by God's kingdom from heaven he will rule.
It goes on to state: fornicators, murders, greedy persons and people who worship idols, drunkards none of those will inherit God's kingdom. Or the paradise earth mentioned in Psalms 37:9,10,11,29 also read Isaiah 65:17

well if they were 19 then they were over the age of accountability (13) and they had ample opportunity to give there life to god.. whether or not they where murdered or not its not their murderers fault they didn't have their life straight..
in saying that should they have been murdered? no. no one should. am I excusing what the guy did? no not at all but he as you said killed them because they where black so he more than likely didn't know anything about them or care for that matter so its not likely that he would have been like hmm i need to wait and let them get there life right with god and then I can go off and kill them..
go ahead ridicule me for being a christian and saying what I think but I don't care..

Well, yes if any murderer or sinner repents and gets right w/God, then they go to Heaven. By age 19, they had the opportunity to know and accept Jesus, so yes, if they didn't accept Jesus, they went to Hell. Just like w/the Holocaust, if Hitler repented and was saved, then he went to Heaven. Once you're saved, God doesn't remember your past sins, they're washed away by the blood of Jesus. Let's go one step further, if the Roman soldiers who killed Jesus, repented and were saved, they too went to Heaven. I think killing our Lord and Savior is the worst sin possible and unforgivable, but in God's eyes, He will forgive us for our sins.
Edit: Just a thought, how do we know the guy in MS isn't saved and already asked God for forgiveness, long before the legal system caught up w/him?

Those who do not put faith in Jesus so as to obey him are not now judged as individuals. (John 12:47,48) They stay under the judgment through Adam (John 3:36; Romans 5:15-19), for which Jesus gave himself in sacrifice. They will be enlightened and judged individually by that light that is given to them in the age to come. -- Isaiah 2:2-4.

There is more to salvation than just asking Jesus into your life. Two things have to happen the Holy Spirit must compel you and you must truely be repentive of your sins. This person who committed such terrible crimes may have already seared his conscience, I believe the scenerio you have concocted cannot happen.

if the 2 kids were not born again...they would not go to heaven, even if they were victims of injustice.....
the murderer... would REALLY have to be sorry and give his heart to God....and it would REALLY have to be sincere...not just alot of lip...usually God would expect him to do something to help the families of the victims...if he had REALLY repented and for the RIGHT reason...he would go to heaven....but if he just gives his heart to avoid hell but does not mean it...he will burn...God is not dumb....He will know the difference

why do you assume that the blacks were non christian.
most of the southern blacks were very much saved. and i doubt
that anyone whom is in to torture and murder rarely is.
ADONAI excepts anyone who is truely repentent.i doubt
that this man would have been. ADONAI knows a deceitful
heart even if we don't.

God will be the judge.
but it says in the Bible whoever accepts Jesus in their lives and believes he died for them, will go to heaven. its all abt what they beleieve in. of course, the murderer would have to sincerely ask God for forgiveness
