so theres this really cute guy whom i have never hung out with but he lives close by and i talk to him on the internet. he wants me to call him...and i want to, but i wouldn't know what to say!

talk about something that he's comfortable with so that you can open up easier to him and he can open up easily to you....
ask him if he likes playing video games or sports and ask him why he likes it and stuff...ask him when he started playing, what his high score is and stuff like that...guys love it!

After the introductions, tell him something about yourself, what sports you like, if any, what classes you like, if any, and what music you like, or places you have been. Don't do all this in one breath. Then pause and let him respond. Listen to him and pick up on something he says and comment on that. Keep doing that and you will talk for a very long time.

Keep the conversation light hearted and casual at first. Let him know that you are glad to be talking to him and comment on the sound of his voice. Ask him if he imagined that your voice would sound the way it does. Relax, it should come naturally. Be charming and don't try too hard. If you can let him lead. If you can talk to him on the internet then you can talk to him in person. It is the same, you just need to relax and everything will turn out just fine.

sometimes phone calls are akward but try your hardest to keep a coversation going. talk to him about school starting or what he's done this summer, ask him what his plans are for the week and try to just be friendly

uh...if he is down the street just invite him over for a movie and popcorn! As far as a conversation, stick to the basics...hobbies, movies, music, fav. places to vacation, what do you want to be when you grow up, most embarrassing moments, fav. food...etc. Good luck and have fun!
